OK this is not my second time around, more like my umpteenth time around I started in December lasted till mid Jan started again in late Jan and made it till mid Feb. I am partly embarassed to be starting again and partly proud for going at it again. I went to Mr Doctor who is a firm believer in Atkins, he also prescribed Meridia, a diet pill, I'm excited to be trying something different I'm not sure how diet pills go with the Atkins mind-set but I have to do something different, I have got to try a new approach and I love this diet, I have been very successfull before and I have been able to keep most of the weight off but I've got to get the last 25 off!

Re: A New Approach
Just wanted to pop in to say Hi and Welcome. Isn't it great to have a doctor who loves Atkins? Mine is the same way... the first time I went in after losing weight and he asked me how I did it, I was a little fearful to admit I was doing Atkins because most doctors are into the "low fat" mindset. He just grinned and said FANTASTIC! He's also a firm believer... I just love him.
Best wishes on this journey!

Re: A New Approach
This is my umpteenth time around too. Don't be embarassed, be proud that you're back again! Even a lot of the people that have made it to goal have had a slip up along the way. The main thing is that you're back and determined to stick with it!
I'm glad your Dr. is supportive. My daughter's endocrinologist is supportive of both of us eating LC. It helps so much!~Brandi
