    Good Morning My Wonderful STACer's,

    Monday morning! Hope everybody had a great weekend. Mine was pretty nice. Woke up to another 2 pound loss this morning. That was a kind surprise. Didn't hit the boards like I wanted too this weekend, so lots to catch up on this morning. Don't forget to add a post and say hello!!

    Good morning to all. Good job on a weekend loss, Scooter! Don't have a clue about where I am after 9 days, my scale is totally messed up. Need to stop this afternoon after work and get another one. I worked both days this weekend, but managed to stay on plan. My clothes do seem to be fitting a little better, though, even if I don't have a clue about my weight. Hubby is doing well also, and he did a lot of work in the yard this weekend also.

        IN and started cleaning up my act. Still at one cup of coffee but no bars starting yesterday and no diet drinks with aspartame.

        Using the sticks I appear to be in ketosis. Still having strange induction flu symptoms but they could also be withdrawal from caffiene, even though I'm still having one cup ... I used to have two to three plus a diet coke here and there.

        My weight. I didn't really weigh myself before I started so I don't know. I am estimating 290. When I went to the docs for my sinus infection three weeks ago I was 296 in clothes and workboots.

        Last week I weighed myself on a scale at the gym wearing the same apparel. I was 294.

        At home on my scale in my boxers I was 288

        I'm averaging a starting point at 290.


        This morning the scale, the same scale at home with boxers, I was 284.


        Forgot my vitamins today and yesterday. Perhaps why the induction flu symptoms feel so severe ?



        Good luck to all today. 3 Eggs and water and half a cup of coffee (saving the other half for this afternoon in case I get sleepy at my desk)

          Morning! Lost 2 of the 4 pounds I gained back from the evil peperoni. So hopefully am back on the right road, will know in a few days. Tried one of the meatloaf recipes last night yummy. This is my long day, my regular job and also have a part time gig on Monday evenings and Sat mornings, so packing lunch/dinner. Thinking about the 6 week exercise challenge starting on the 25th. I think grocery shopping at Wallyworld should count as a round of exercise, that was a workout hehe. Cya guys later. Keep up the good work !!!

            Hi STACers, for those of you who've dropped some pounds, congratulations!!

            I definitely did NOT drink enough water this weekend, so that is my #1 priority today. I'm also going to try for 3 miles running after school today, before I go to my Boot Camp class. I didn't do a long run yesterday, so I need to get my butt in gear!

              Hi everyone. Week one is over and done and I'm feeling OK.

              I figured out a little trick to help me when I want to let the kids have a sweet treat. Usually I bake cookies or cupcakes, etc., but the temptation to lick the bowl and the leftover sweets sitting on the counter are too much for me to bare and I end up caving in and eating them. So what I did is buy a bunch of the cupcake mixes for $.44 that only make six cupcakes at a time and I let my two daughters make them theirselves (they are 8 and 4). Then they each have one the afternoon that they make them and then have one in their lunch the next day.

              (I know cupcakes aren't the best thing for kids to eat, but all three of my kids eat all their healthy food and are slim so I don't think a cupcake a day will hurt them.)

              What do the rest of you do so that your kids can still have a treat now and then without tempting you too much? Does it bother anyone else to have these things around as much as me?

                Just taking a moment to check in. Had a good weekend... as some of you may have read in some posts I made yesterday, Sundays are my weigh in day so I got to see what my 21 day total was yesterday. 11 pounds gone in 21 days... yeah me!

                Woke up this morning with both of my ears so stopped up that I can barely hear anything. What's up with that? Never in my life had this happen before. Been up for about 3.5 hours now, and it's still like that.

                Oh, well... onward and downward! (pounds, that is) Have a simply wonderful day, All!

                  HI Everyone! I'm new!! I started STAC a week ago today and my starting weight was 202. I am now at 196. 6 lbs in one week.. not too shabby!!
                  Had a good weekend. Finding it a bit easier this time around. !

                    Good afternoon all! I did well over the weekend foodwise, but didn't get my exercise in like I had planned. I weighed this morning though and I'm down a couple pounds! Yay! I'm not recording it yet, but it's nice to see.

                    As far as kids treats go.. I try to keep them away from the sugary stuff as much as possible. Diabetes runs big time in our family and one of my daughters was just diagnosed with it recently so that's more motivation to keep the junk out of my kitchen! That being said, if I do give them a treat now and then I will buy something premade.. preferably individually packaged.

                      Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a great day. Congratulations on all the pounds lost this weekend too!! Sounds like everybody did a great job! Week Two starts for me today. I weighed myself this morning and was SHOCKED and THRILLED to NOT see a "2" in front of my weight!!! Woohoo! I started week 1 at 205 and ended at 199, so 6lbs! Feel great!

                        Happy Monday to everyone! I got through my first 24 hours without a hitch; day two went well too. I'm drinking LOTS of water, have a food journal and am being very diligent with my meal planning. I walked 2 miles today and actually put it on my calendar at work so I make sure I do it every day!

                        Sounds like everyone had a good weekend. I just joined this forum and am so glad I found the STAC club!! You guys ROCK.

                        I'm going to take my measurements tonight so I can focus on that and not (necessarily) the scale.

                            I have managed to lose 4lbs over the weekend...I am assuming it is from getting tons of exercise workin in the garden and planting trees...lol

                              Hello!!!!! OK so im a day late ( thats usually the case with me ) but I figured Id say hi and congrats to everyone!! Im really quite jealous that you were out planting gentlerain!! Im in maine and theres still a ton of snow on the ground I LOVE gardening!!! And I can wait to see all my bulbs come up and get my butt out there and work on my gardens!!! I LOVE spriing!!!!
