    Re: Roll Call - Thursday

Hi everybody -- I've been gone for a couple of months, gained most of my weight back, and I'm back again, more determined than ever.

I see some new names here, and most of the old familiar ones, too.

Welcome back, "Iwillbethin". I hope to see your posts often.

Hi Outback Jess -- your newest picture is awesome! I came back because of you! And I see that Juli is still doing great -- good job Julie!

Thanks Scooter, for sharing your story. That made me even more determined.

Next stop, the Exercise Challenge Forum...

    Have a great day everybody,

Not a very good day today for me at all. I haven't really been doing as well keeping under 20 carbs per day as I thought I was. Bummed out; gotta stay focused and pay more attention to what I'm doing. Blah. I've been eating way too much veggies just because I had it in my mind that it was ALL good.

Scooter, wow your story really brought tears to my eyes, very emotional and heartfelt. You're a wonderful writer. My father died in the exact same way several years ago. He was a diabetic type II, and had a heart attack plus a stroke at the same time. He went into a coma on Christmas day and never survived it. I never worried about being diabetic, even though it runs strong on both sides of my family. I was always on the thinner side. I never had a weight problem until I turned 50. Now I know I have to get this weight off for so many reasons. My sister was diagnosed with diabetes two years ago. I've started this diet and quit several times. I've got to stick with this or else. Thanks for sharing that Scooter.

You nailed it Scooter...You have really done an amazing job rallying the people of STAC together..I report in, I am good. Still very connected to my low carb eating, and feel strong on that front! Moving towards my goals...I have achieved 70lbs of weight loss in the last 8 months. I am very proud of this...
I love the lifestyle and how I feel every day, in good and bad, thick and thin...I can make good choices and stand by my habits...and they support me more than you know at this present time.

I finally cooked something that is atkins friendly and my family liked. Chicken parmesian.
It was like a miracle. I feel pretty good. Tried to eat good (legal) things while out of town will weigh tomorrow and see if I was as good as I thought I was. Have a good sleep.
