  • Happy Saturday!

Greetings to everyone on this fine day! We've had a lot of rain this week, but it looks like it might be okay today. Regardless, it's SATURDAY!!!

Had a good night last night. We went to a surprise birthday party where there were all kinds of temptations (everyone kept pressuring me to drink and there was lots of junk food) but I didn't go there. I had one slice of swiss cheese...that's IT. So I felt good and feel even better this morning.

This next week will be a challenge. I have 3 dining out dates. Wednesday is my parent's 65th wedding anniversary, then of course next Sunday is Easter (going to a buffet...barf) and the day after Easter is my 'girls night out' club. I'm very confident that I can be good, though. I gotta be cuz it's WORTH IT!

Anyway, I'm sending good thoughts and wishes for success for everyone today.

Morning Hug. Great job last night!! I also feel pretty good today and am GOING to drink all my water today, have not been great at that. Probably another reason I have not lost much since induction. Have not gained either so its allllllllllll good. Am happy with the way I feel. Family is happier now that I am trying some recipies like instead of plain chicken breast I put a little green chili's on them and a little pace pacante then melted cheese on top, they were very suprised and ate it up. *grin* cyas later

        Good morning all!

I'm planning my workout so I can try out my new iPod...putting all the songs on it now. I know, I know, I feel like I JUST NOW entered the 21st century...it seemed like everyone had some sort of iPod except me...so I'm going to do an upper body workout, and then go for a 4 or 5 mile run.

I'm making breakfast right now, and I should be off to start my day soon.

I'm also getting my taxes done today, hope I've got all my papers together, yikes!

        Have a great day, guys.

          Good morning everyone!

I don't have an ipod either. I'm convinced it's just a glorified Walkman and I did fine without one of those. Funny though, my six year old just asked me for an ipod this morning. I asked him what it was and he described it perfectly. Maybe there's one in our future afterall.

We might be going to the movies tonight too. It will be hard to pass up a big bucket of buttered popcorn with extra butter. I can almost smell it. Funny to think that all that butter isn't the problem!

I think I'll go check out that new bellydance video that I bought. And then later a bike ride if it doesn't rain.

I hope you all have a great day.

            Re: Happy Saturday!

Good morning everyone! Sounds like everyone has a busy weekend planned of fun stuff! Today is "cleaning" day around here and going to visit family later on. It's really yucky and rainy out today, but we're gonna go mall walking too. Tomorrow is Wrestlemania here in Detroit, so we'll be at friends for a little party. Rain, I do the same thing and eat some good stuff at home before I go out anywhere now; it really helps to stop the temptations! Good luck next week Hugg! Good thoughts for success coming your way!

Hope everyone has a great day! Off to finish cleaning and drink more water!

              Re: Happy Saturday!

Happy day everyone. Hope you all enjoy the week-end, although it looks like most of this country will be under rain today.

Husband came home from business trip to China last night, so I was very glad to see him, as he's been gone two weeks. He hates the food there and gets tired of it quickly, but I resisted the temptation of buying him all kinds of goodies to have when he returned. I don't trust myself. I've always had that "one little bite won't hurt" mentality. He doesn't need them anyway.

Juli, you will love your iPod! I have a hand carrier for mine, cost around $6 at Wal-Mart. It wraps around the palm, and gives you freedom from carrying it. For me, music makes exercising much more fun.

Well, it looks like it's going to rain here in my neck of the woods, so I better get to walking or get wet.

Here's hoping for a great day of weight lose for everyone here.
