Hi everyone!
Some of you might remember me, so hi! Those who don't, nice to meet you!
Anyway, I haven't been so good with the exercise the last few months because I was REALLY stressed out. I mean really really really stressed out. Well, this sunday I said enough was enough and I started exercising. Since I never do anything halfway, I probably went overboard (although I'm not all that sore, so maybe not). I did:
Sunday: 20 mile bike ride
Monday: 3 mile hike (the park elevation ranges from 200 to 1100 feet, so VERY hilly)
Tues: 3 mile hike
Wed: 4 mile
Thurs: 5 mile
Fri: 7 mile
Sat: 6 mile
So, that should give you some idea as to how overboard i went. :P
Anyway, i'm now STARVING. And starving for carbs, too. I have managed not to go off the diet, but I don't know how to deal with this, it's SO hard. I think I've eaten enough peanuts to feed a small country this week - clearly that isn't a great thing to do. But it was either that or jump into a vat of french fries or bread or something. No matter how much I eat, i'm not satisfied. It's totally a carb craving.
I know that this increase in exercise is to blame for this ravenous hunger that I have, so I was wondering how you guys dealt with the hunger when you get it. I eat a full meal and i'm still starving, put it that way. I've eaten a lot of fat, etc... I eat peanuts and almonds as snacks. And yet I'm still ravenous. Short of eating 2 entire plates of food at every meal, I don't know what to do! help!
(or, at the very least, tell me this will go away! :P)
