Hey STACers.
I had some time this morning, and since I start my day here, I thought I'd share. I don't know about you but I really value "THE DAY"...Today is THE DAY.
I only have today, tomorrow is not here, and I certainly don't want to return to yesterday in any form!
Today is completely open to my choices...There are minutes all over the place in my day that are not claimed, and I can fill them with things that make me stronger in this way of life.
TODAY, i got up eariler so I could come here and get my focus and motivation together!
TODAY, I made a choice to make this a priority. This is where I fill up. Set my mind to the task and remind myself of the successes available in this way of eating.
TODAY, I reach out, even though I am fairly tired and worn out from a crisis, I know the value of posting and making friends and sharing our common goals of a healthy life.
TODAY, I look over my schedule and commit to WHEN i will exercise. HOW MUCH water I will drink and WHAT I WILL EAT!
TODAY I might return to the Atkins book and refresh, or study up on some exercise techniques, because KNOWLEDGE is power, and I talk myself into alot of good stuff, leveraging knowledge to motivate with.
I've been doing these same mental things for 8+ months now. I walk in front of a mirror and stop, stunned! Where did all the weight go? What will fit me today, as cold weather returns, and I have to get back into jeans that are all too big?
IT all comes down to TODAY. TODAY is about a lifestyle I can live, not a pound I can loose, they take care of themselves. TODAY is about living with routines and habits I can MAKE happen, not WISH I COULD HAVE DONE.
