        Tell me about it. Of course it's not so bad for me, I keep telling myself I could still be in Michigan.

        Yuck. Thanks for reminding me how bad Michigan weather stinks! LOL

        Good morning y'all! I started Week 2 of my couch to 5k program last night and thought it wouldn't hurt to run in the rain. Well, needless to say, I can't breathe today and my head is killing me. But, I did run two minutes on, two minutes off with NO problems, so YAAAAY!

        I enjoy playing hooky from work so much! Although, my baby threw my cell phone in the toilet last night, so now this is my only means of communication for the day.

          Good Morning, All!

          Rushing around getting ready for work this morning. Just had to stop by for a moment to check in.

          I see many of you got here early... good for you!

          Sorry about the cold weather for so many. While I dread the sub-tropical climate here in Louisiana during the summer, I must say I am enjoying temperatures in the 80's during the spring. (Hard to believe we had rain mixed with sleet over the Easter weekend... only lasted a day, though)

          One last thing before I go... my awesome husband suprised me with a lap-top computer for my birthday last night. Woo-hoo!! No more fighting with my son to get on a computer! Hubby said he's noticed how much I love this board and what a pain it was to share a computer with my son, so voila! I can get on whenever I want, where ever I want. SWEET!

              Mitzi, what a great hubby you have!

              I'm here, I'm on plan, I'm planning on exercising. I've got that huge burst of induction ENERGY this morning. I woke up at 5 AM and cleaned by entire house before cooking breakfast and getting ready for work.

                Glad to see everyone sticking to it. Way to go diwitch on the 100 ounces of water...I finally reached that 100 ounces mark on yesterday as well.

                    Hi just checking in, man so many people already have gotten up and checked on in that is great. Im a little late this morning, after i got my daughter on the bus i layed back down something i usually dont do. Well anyway i feel good today, going to go walk with hubby here in a little while and try to get some miles in. Hope you all have a blessed day!!!!!

                      Yeah Yeah I'm in.

                      What does the team think about this.


                      1. I didnn't do this right from the get go, I've hit a stall and am frustrated.
                      2. I didn't read the book all the way through yet, I'm not done.


                      Thinking about cycling a week off ... nothing drastic. No sugar at all, no bars, basically, ...... I don't know .... I dont' know. Sounds ludicrous just trying to explain it.

                      I'm not craving any kind of foods. I'm just feeling like maybe I've "cheated" myself.

                      How do I start over ? While I'm still basically re-doing induction as it is. (Wife joined me this week so I figured I'd redo induction with her as part of supporting each other).

                      Honestly, I'm drinking more caffiene. That, is potentially the issue. Instead of just one cup of coffee (16 oz) I am mixing in a Diet Coke. (@16 oz).

                      I'm also failing in the water department. Although yesterday was bad, tuesday was good.


                      Okay, thanks. I'm out. No big deal. I'm going to focus on this fact ....

                      I didn't focus on goals and weight gain while getting this heavy, I just went through a process.

                      Likewise, I'm not going to focus on goals and weight loss while getting leaner, I'm going to learn, enjoy and hone the process.


                      This whole mental trip cannot be about craving Cracker Barrell pancakes can it ? I mean.


                      Oy vey ..... thanks team. I'm in it to win it. I'm thinking of trying the Atkins Diet.

                            It's surprising how our necks disappear in all the extra poundage. One of the first things I notice in these pictures are how nice-looking necks are visible again.

                                Juli you look great. I must say, you do carry your weight well, and certainly look much smaller than what you weigh. It must be all the exercise. I know you've said you do quite a bit.... It has sure paid off... you look GREAT!

                                It's cold here, but sunny and a beautiful day. The south always has the best weather. I was raised in snow country, and love it here.
