                    Hi Skinnymom, could you give me some ideas on what you are eating for meals while on induction? Breakfast, lunch and dinner would be great. I have my standards and wonder what others in induction have.

                    One thing I love to make is to make some hamburger (little pieces not a patty although sounds good too) melt cheese, small portion of diced canned tomatoes, put a little but of sour cream and avacado. It is soooo yummy. Do you have any meals that you make that you could share with me? Thanks.

                      Well I do have the Atkins shakes for breakfast about 4 days of the week....the other days I have 2 scrambled eggs with cheese on top and 2 sausage patties. For lunch I have turkey roll ups - I would not like these except our deli has AMAZING Deep Fried Turkey Breast - it is SO good. So two slices of that with a slice of American White cheese rolled up with it. I don't even need to put any condiments on it because it's so flavorful. Tuna salad with egg, mexican spiced chicken salad (I make my own mexican spice - can post if you want!) Lots of times for lunch or dinner I'll have the scrambled eggs and sausage.

                      For dinner I have cheeseburger no bun, chili (I use the 2 Alarm Chili kit and leave out the masa packet) with cheese and sour cream on top, I've made parmesan crusted chicken parm with a low in carb spaghetti sauce I've found (Ferramo or something like that?) I am also guilty of eating two Hebrew National hot dogs with mustard when I'm in a hurry for dinner or lunch. I made chicken Florentine with spinach one night but didn't care for that. As for my veggies I'll have a 2 cup salad with 1/8 cup feta cheese, 1/4 avocado and 1 tbs ranch, toss it well and that is plenty of dressing. The cheese really makes the salad and lots of times the salad is my lunch and I'll have a snack of a string cheese or deviled eggs a couple hours after. And then I also have green beans with melted butter and lemon pepper seasoning.

                      I need to branch out on veggies but I'm not a fan of most unfortunately lol! And for drinks, just 100 oz of water a day and with dinner one glass of sugar free lemonade. It does have aspartame which I know is a no-no, but Country Time quit making theirs I guess, it had that Ace-K stuff in it which is ok. So I've had to resort to Crystal light - booo!

                        Thank you for some new ideas. I get stuck in the same ol rut of scrambled eggs and sausage patties or links for breakfast. Lunch consists of a grilled chicken salad w/ranch dressing and or a turkey/lettuce sandwhich minus the bread or if I am in a big hurry and need to grab something during my lunch break I will grab a cheeseburger minus the bun and sauces.
                        Dinner is either a piece of chicken, fish or ground hamburger w/little bit of sour cream and some avacado. I usually have some green beans too.
                        How do you feel the shakes do for you? I personally quit the shakes and bars because it would cause major stalls...

                        Does anyone else have any good ideas for induction meals that may be good for me to try??

                            The shakes never seem to stall me but I know they cause trouble for others. I avoid the bars for the most part though. I figure the shakes are 5 total carbs if I don't subtract the fiber whereas the bars are WAY more if you count all the carbs.
