  • Tue Roll Call

    Good morning STACers...it's Tues. Another day to build lifestyle, and habits and routines that carry you right into ketosis. Having been out of ketosis, let me tell you the benefits of being in...When you are in ketosis, there is a buzz of energy unlike anything I'd experienced before...it's a daily buzz, and you end up cleaning out closets, cleaning out garages, and often time painting and fixing up the place. Some do mountains of yardwork! Then there is food, you find yourself not eating as much, not as hungry, everyonce in a while you find you might actually miss a meal and of course, that's unthinkable.... Then cravings, usually cravings begin to quiet down, they don't hamper your thoughtlife...

    Ketosis is that little hidden special extra that really makes Atkins stand out! It makes you feel great...I'm in, but just barely...I've worked hard to get back in. I've not been gaining any weight, but I've missed that silence of foods! Ketosis is to be worked for, and established and cherished!!!

      I am here this morning.. I tell you that is one thing I LOVE about this woe is not starving.. Which I always felt on weight watchers...

      I am in a better mood today...Still miserable from Tom..whom I think should be dead...lol 3lbs of that water is off of me this morning... But my hands are still swollen.

      I need to go grocery shopping today.. I need some new foods to eat here

        Good Morning STACer's,

        Life is good. Spent the evening experimenting in the kitchen. I have all kinds of good goodies with me today. Egg & Pepper Fritta, Meatloaf (with mushrooms, peppers, parmesan cheese), Jicama (of course), I love to cook!
        I hope everybody is ready for the veggie challenge....

        Ketosis is a wonderful place to be, for sure. I love that feeling of energy!

            Hear, hear! Even with the amount and variety of food you were able to eat, I was still hungry. And craving more. And sickly from the processed junk... Ack!

            Anywho, Good Morning, all! Checking in quickly and need to get busy. I need to spend time figuring out my meals for next week, including for the veggie challenge...What the heck is an endive?! LOL! Plus yardwork and job searching. Going to be a busy day.

                Oh, yeah. One particular slice of bread was 1 point. Well, when you had roughly 30 points to play with, you could chow down quite a bit of bread! And rice and pastas... Poison! POISON!! LOL! (Applying the little mindgames from the Cake and Ant thread... heh heh!)

                  Good Morning Everyone, checking in!!!! Jess you are so right about Ketosis, i love it, i feel like im in control. Well i have seem to take an obsession with the scale and it is pissing me off, im not losing any weight, not sure if its all the excercise i have been doing and im going to have a whoosie come through or what, but it has been 3wks of excercising and the only thing i have lost is a few inches, which im happy for but come on i want some pounds to come off, i go to the doctor for a physical in May and i want him to see i have lost a few pounds, he is not going to measure me. Ok im done whining, i need to put the scale away i guess. Well anyway let me go and get my day going, i hope you all have a blessed day!!!!

                    Good morning all I'm here. Home with a sick boy again today. I'm going to make another batch of sausage. You'll think I'm crazy, but I'm going to look for my little hand crank meat grinder (which I used to use at Christmas time to grind cranberries and oranges together for a relish) and measure it for a sausage attachment. Then I'll be able to make link sausage too! Scooter has created a sausage monster!!!

                      Morning, thank goodness for ketosis, I must be in it because when I was at a small group meeting and they put a HUGE tray of frosted chocolate cake brownies, I just thought yuck its not worth it. And why did they have to sit right in front of me? it was a big table. B**** but she did not know, the couple of co workers that knew grinned at me and thought it was funny. It was a LITTLE. Turtles don't like cake. Thank goodness I had a hotdog and some cheese on my way to it. going on a overnite trip see you guys tomorrow night, be good hehe

                        Lisa.. I think you and I need to break our scales...lol I know everyone says inches are coming off...but like you... The doctor can't say..Sandy has lost inches so she deserves to be on her husbands insurance policy.. No they want to see a number below 200... So I hear you..even though my pants are looser..lol

                            Great Job.. I can walk by the kids Easter bags and not get tempted either and that is such a great feeling!
