    Morning Glory I am feeling that way too...that this is a way of eating FOR LIFE and I'm surprised that I rarely find myself saying "oh it would just be so much easier to eat x and not worry about it" that is a relief huh?

      Morning, I made the little cheese cracker things in the microwave last night. take some shredded coby or whatever cheese put it in a little round circle not a tall pile and nuke it. they get crunchy like a little cracker only took a minute probably the thicker the pile of cheese the longer it would take mine were only about 1.5 inches across. Great by themselves or might use them for scoop egg salad. yum. I may get adventuresome and try those rolls, not such a good cook so its kind of scarey.
      Anyways hehe rambling not quite awake. Going to be a GREAT day today storms have passed. cyas tonight

        Oh yes! Those are my vice. Love, love, love those things. Cheez-its aren't nearly as good! I even bought a silicone muffin pan so now I make perfectly round ones! YUM!

          good morning everybody. Today is going to be a great day! I got up early and took my crazy dog for a 1 hour walk. That's a great start for my day. It's Wednesday! That much closer to the weekend.

            Hey does anyone know what rung flaxseed would be? I know it is allowed on induction for constipation, don't have that problem, lol, but I do have a recipe for flax crackers from that 'other diet' that are pretty decent (as salsa conveyers, at least).

            According to the UDSA database and the label on the bag, they only have .02 net carbs per tablespoon (yes, that is right .02) A whole cup only has 1.5 net carbs. They also make pretty decent muffins, any thoughts?

              It's a sunny beautiful day here in MT! I'm a little stiff from yesterday's run, but I think I'll make it...I'm just wondering how I'll fare during Kickboxing class tonight! All I can think about lately are planning my veggies...yay for the veggie challenge.

                Good morning, all. Funny hearing about all the warm weather and the need for air conditioners. It's cold up North here; I have my furnace running. All the stormy weather stayed south of us last night. Maybe rain today - winds are a bit gusty. Thankfully, I got my bike ride in before that started.

                I've got to start a binder for all these recipes, information and exercises. It's all a huge change from the status quo. After some other priorities are taken care of, though. I started rereading the book while waiting for the doctor yesterday and am dug in again with it. Never really got past much of the induction and am considering going to OWL. Need to see just how all that works. Thankfully, the Veggie Challenge has gotten me straightened out with the induction! Talk about having your own version of Atkins! yeesh!

                Off to do abs and possibly a video... Will be watching for other's comments about those yummy-looking rolls!

                  Good Morning, All...

                  Just getting ready to go outside and do some exercise. Still wavering between walking or riding my bike.

                  Yay! My hair appointment day is finally here! Can't wait to get these bangs out of my eyes...drives me nuts!

                  Veggie challenge was a little harder yesterday, but I made it. Should be easier today since I don't work. Gotta work on the water, too. Worked the afternoon/evening shift yesterday, and I didn't drink near enough. I'll fix that today, though.

                        We live in a double wide - so ditto! But we also have lots of big trees that usually keep the house cool. We also usually have a breeze, but not much the last couple of days.

                            Arghhhh-uing....

                            Hi there --

                            I argued with my sister yesterday, too! We rarely do that. I didn't let one drop of dust settle before apologizing. (I hate apologizing.) But there's no anger there now, and less reason to feel like I need to "sweeten" myself up with a little somethin' somethin'.

                            Get what I mean? (wink)

                            Okay. So tomorrow is day 14 on induction and it looks like I've barely lost 5 pounds -- and today it was right back up to SW.

                            But I WILL NOT STOP this time.

                              I love reading what ya'll say about your days! This is such a good place to be. Well, yesterday I finally got off my buttski and did a great workout dvd---a Joyce Vedral weightlifting one...she is such a hoot and I like the no froo-froo workouts like that. So yay for me for finally overcoming my week-long slump in exercise motivation woooot wooot!

                              Um....I also lost another pound FINALLY but am waiting to move my ticker in case it was just a momentary loss of gravity in the atmosphere....
                              Now, ya'll have a nice day, drank that water and eat them vegbuls!!

                                Me neither (stop this time that is)! I actually gained four pounds my first two weeks on induction, I am back to 1 pound below my starting weight now. But I did lose about 3 inches (measured this morning) so I just at the scales and enjoy the fact that I am not longer starving and actually enjoying the food I am eating.
