  • Getting Frazzled...lol

    Okay.. Why is it easy to get tons of carb snacks to take with you somewhere and harder for not carb stuff.

    As some of you know I will be at dance competition this weekend again with my daughter.. Where we will be staying is expensive.. and the restaurant is expensive too. Last time I had a hamburger there it was $10 but man was it a good hamburger.. that was the cheapest thing on the item.

    We were talking at dance last night..and one Grandma said.. I am bringing Apples.. Rice Crispy Treats.. Peanut Butter and Crackers.. (Can't have any of it)

    Another mom said.. I just went to the grocery store.. I picked up Grapes and Strawberries (can't have them...lol)

    It would be so easy to just reach in the snack drawer and pull out a bunch of junk..

    But nope.. I am preplanning my meals for when I get there.. It would be much better if there website had a menu.. cause I can't remember what is on it...

    Morning Sandy, What I bring along to work for snacks is olives , celery, green beans , cheese slices, I used to bring nuts but they seem to stall me so I cut those out. Love green beans. I put them in baggies and when others are munching on junk I pull one of those out and am good to go. If you were going to eat in your room you could make some dip and a little vege tray, broccoli, cauli, mushroom. I am getting rdy for work getting my snacks together for the day now that I have made myself hungry. hehe

      I am assuming you mean raw green beans? I do better if I have good meals and not snacks all the time.. I think I am starting to get it figured out for the weekend though.. I hope..lol
