    Good Morning STACer's,

    Finally looks like Spring and Summer are here and on the way!! Hope everybody had a great weekend. Time to 'RE-FOCUS' so to speak. Start thinking about summer goals, what do you want to accomplish?

    Myself, I want to get several Canoe trips in, Several camping trips, Exercise - planning on 3 5 k's with my boss this summer June July August and several 20 mile bike rides with my brother.

    It's expensive, but going to get to ride my bike (for charity) around the Indy 500 track....looking forward to this one.

    I want to get to goal before end of summer. One-derland here I come!! You ain't gonna beat me.

    Hi Scooter. Being a typical woman!, my goal is purely vanity based! I want to be able to wear a pair of skinny jeans with a simple fitted t-shirt. I always wear baggy tops over jeans, to cover my tummy.... those days are on the way out!

    Today is weigh day for me, and I'm grinning again.... I lost 3lbs and over 6". I really can hardly believe this woe, the results are so worth the sacrifices I'm making.

      Ah-yep. That's what new days are about. We get our rest, a chance to regroup physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and start with a mini- "clean slate" each day. Instead of stressing over what we did wrong the previous days, think it through and figure out how to take that situation and do it better next time.

      The is all an ongoing process of improvement for all of us. We're only human and by that nature, cannot be perfect. For some of us, it may take a bit more time because the healthier foods we're eating may be allowing our bodies to heal from the abuse the crap foods did to us. Our immune systems are getting stronger, muscles and nerves are being fed and rebuilt, our pancreas is getting a break from kicking out tons of insulin, the brain is being fed what it needs and starting to communicate to the rest of the body better, the heart growing stronger with every session of working out, cholesteral levels are getting back to what they should be.

      If there were ever a Fruit of the Spirit some of us need for ourselves, it's that of Patience. We will get there, step by step. When we stumble along the way, and we will, refuse to sit down on the road and give up. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and take that next step forward. Persevere.

        Morning STACers! As Theperfect10 said, my goals are pretty much vanity based as well. I would love to be able to confidently put on a bathing suit and go to the beach with all of my friends instead of staying cooped up in the air conditioning. Or to wear shorts and a tank top instead of jeans all summer long. These things keep me motivated. I would also like to be able to go with my husband when he takes our dogs jogging. That would be pure joy!

          Scooter, I made your sausage over the weekend, yummy. I made a trial batch first, then made a huge batch (upped the cayanne a bit) and it is nicely sliced, packaged and sitting in the freezer. I couldn't find any ground pork, to lazy to grind it myself, so I used 1/2 turkey & 1/2 ground beef, still yummy.

          I am still at the 178 I started at, but not in the least discouraged. I am however going to cut out the cheese and see what happens. I have done 3 weeks of clean induction so I am going to up my veggie carbs a bit too. Sort of a 1/2 first rung. Got water up to between 128 & 145, so I am doing good there.

            Too much to do this morning and too little time, so no philosophizing for me. Great posts though. My goals are simple. Get to 199 by the end of June...unlikely, but if I keep it up and keep walking maybe I can look like I made it! And to reach my goal by the end of the year.

              I am feeling better today, have my menu planned for the day and will not be indulging in desserts for a few days, I think I was on that slippery slope and need to get back to the top of the hill

                    Good Morning stacers, well my goals for summer is to just stay on plan and keep doing the 6wk challenges, i think that this last 6wk challenge is what got me excercising religiously to begin with, now that i have got into a routine with excercise im wanting it, how funny to me, just 2 months ago it took everything i had to get my butt out there to excerise and now im wanting it. Well i hope you all have a blessed day and will check in later!!!!

                      Good Morning Everyone.. Its suppose to be 90 today! I don't like it that warm.. After my very hard weekend of finding legal food.. I am happy to say I was just 1lb up since friday... But Monday's are my official weigh in day and I am down 4lbs since last week. So I can surely say I am in the 270's and out of the 280's.. Which is an awesome thing

                      I am so happy to be home and to be able to cook what is better for me.

                      I did have a good thing happen this weekend. The motel we were staying at only had 2 working elevators.. 2 out of 4.. Its 18 floors.. So a lot of the time the elevators were full. I was staying on the 4th floor. I went down the steps 3 times to the main floor.. And one time I went up 2 sets of the steps.. From the pool which was on the 2nd floor to the 4th floor.. I was breathing a little heavy.. but I did it And I am getting better at the stair climbing at dance classes also....

                      Fortunately I won't have to go away again until July
