    Happy Hump Day everyone!

    I finally got some exercise in yesterday and am pumped! All it takes is getting your butt on that treadmill once and I am hooked. Its just that first push to get there that is the hardest.

    Anyhoo, I may sign up for that mileage challenge, though the Atkins Attack is keeping me way busy already
    I can't wait to weigh myself June 15th! I hope time flies and the inches and pounds hit the road jack! he he

        good morning all. yesterday was such an eye-opening day. I have to walk up a rather large hill to get to work, for the first time I noticed how much lighter i feel. i couldnt find my belt so I spent the day with the realization that i need to buy some new, smaller ones. Also, one thing that i have noticed is the difference in the way strangers react toward me. I have always been the kind of person that wears a smile in public at all times. at my heaviest weight, people mostly ignored me, after losing a substantial amount, for some reason i am not invisible to them. people now look at me and say hello, or come up and talk to me.

            Morning everyone. I'm here too - another glorious sunny day here too. Have been inspired to do a big spring clean .... I'm sure it must be good exercise ... my arms certainly are protesting!
            Gonna get going on the treadmill shortly. Just realised though I've missed lunch and its almost 15.30.... better have a snack at the very least. Love this woe - may have said it once or twice, but wow the energy I have is unbelievable.

              Opps! Sorry Scooter…I meant to log in the past few days but got busy packing my ebay stuff and running errands. I am always thrilled to make some extra $$$ on ebay but then comes all the packing and shipping and reality hits…this is a real 2nd job. Then yesterday I made a bit of a road trip to an organic market to pick up raw organic dog food since my boyfriend and I are all nervous about the pet food recalls. So not only are we eating healthier so are our pets! I even found no carb/no sugar ketchup, ranch dressing, and no salt added tuna. Yea! But you are right…I need to make more me time…everyone tells me that. Oh…and my slim in 6 dvd came late yesterday so I will be starting that today along with my treadmill…So I will hop over and join the si6 challenge. Oh and good news…I got weighed/measured at curves on Monday and I am down a total of 11 inches since December and 12.5 pounds but scale is still on crack and keeps telling me 130…then 132…then 129…then 130 again. I am not stepping back on the repulsive thing until next Monday!!!! Have a good day everyone!

                Yea…I have noticed a lot of that as well. I had a coworker (from another floor) hold the door open for me one morning and then he just stopped and was like “Hi…I haven’t seen you before…are you new here?”…it was pretty obvious he was flirting. Here I must say that I had seen this guy around in the halls and elevators since I moved to this building. I said “no…I have worked here for 3 years now” and he just looked confused and smiled. I have noticed a lot more attention since I lost weight and I have not had so many guys hitting on me since highschool…It is strange to say the least!

                    HI. I am new to the 2nd time around board. I started in January and I lost about 8 pounds but tons of inches...I went on vacation (and then extended it) . While away I ate kind of half Atkins and half crap. ANYWAY....I am back on induction for the next few weeks. I want to not only look great (I look ok now) but I want to FEEL great for the summer.

                      Hi everyone, Sorry I am only saying a quick hi. I've been on here just about every day, but been more busy than usual. I'm getting ready to run out the door now. I'll be back tonight to read what everyone's up to. I tend to feel bad when I can't reply here to most, so I haven't been checking in here at all...I should though.

                          HI everyone. I hope I get to know you very soon. I have a BORING job and I have tons of time during the day to post, in between pretending to be working! I am about to go to lunch ( I am a teacher) and today lunch is being provided for teacher appreiciation day. I WILL NOT eat anything that I am not supposed to and will report back in 45 minutes to let you all know the outcome! Wish me luck!!!!!!!!

                              Welcome swimR4! and hi to all! It is so fun to read everyone's post here---always some new tidbit to learn.

                              I hadn't thought about it, but the comments about being ignored before weight loss and now being noticed are soooooooo true!! What strange irony...the bigger I was, the more invisible I was to others...now that I've lost some noticeable inches and do look very different, people seem to be "seeing" me again. Or they used to say "you have such a pretty face" but now say "gee you look nice"....like the rest of my body just now got connected to my head

                                I'm not sure about losing weight, but I definitely get treated better in stores right after I get my hair done. It's very obvious.
