    Sandy, I know how you feel, tommorow will be 4 weeds of induction for me, I have not cheated, not one single time...drinking my water, even cut out the cheese for the last four days. My scale started at 178.5 is still there, lol. It has went up and down a bit, one memerable day was 176!, but the average is 178.5, period. I would swear they are broke, if it wasn't for the dh losing steadily. MEN!! Hang in there, it WILL come off.

    Scooter, what wonderful friends you have.

    Skinnymom, oh do I ever sympathize. Mexican food is my all time favorite food and for me...taco salads don't cut it! I want a burrito or enchilada, lol, you can some consolation in the fact that when you get futher up the ladder there are some really good low carb tortillas out there.

            good morning all. thats a wonderful story scooter, it's nice to know people are still capable of doing nice things.

            I weigh myself every day, on the days when i dont lose any weight, or gain a little bit, i always keep one thing in mind. I still weigh much less than when i started.

            well i am off to take my final today. best wishes and keep strong.

              I was sautee'ing green pepper and ham in olive oil and burned the heck out of them. Then I added the eggs and everything instantly turned a gross brown mess. heh heh! STILL tasted good. Just have to close the good eye while I'm eating them. HA!

                I agree, I've really tried to play 'detective' to no avail. Nobody is talking. It is just so cool to know they think so highly of me, but I still wish I knew who did it. My boss swears it's not him, but I don't know.

                It might have even been the owner of the company and his wife.

                I honestly don't know if I'll find out!

                I mean seriously, how do you thank such an anonymous person?? Grrrr......

                  Good morning everybody!

                  Scooter, thanks for sharing that story! It made my day. Now I feel all warm & fuzzy inside.

                  I feel for those of you who are battling with the scale. Mine doesn't move anymore, but I am definitely shrinking! The scale lies (unless, of course, it says you are down a few pounds, then it is telling the truth). The scale only tells one part of the story.

                  I leave for vacation tomorrow. I'll talk to you all when I get back! I'll be offline till Monday, May 14.

                    Floydgirl have a wonderful vacation! I would love to see the sun and sand right about now!
                    Scooter, I think the only way you can thank your gift-giver is to put the money to good use and then pay it forward somehow to someone else who needs a hand.

                      That's excellent advice MorningGlory!! Thank you! Now that we have the funds, I'm having the car towed to the shop tomorrow. They said it will be 2 weeks before I get it back.

                      I'm thinking about posting some little flyers on the bulletin boards at work that just say.....Thank You and have Karen and I hand sign them.

                            Checking in, though am sick today...oh well.

                            Anyway, Scooter that is a wonderful thing that happened for you and your wife. Someone out there felt like helping out their friend, and in doing so, not only gave you a much-deserved lift, but also lifted up the rest of us to always be aware of how we might help others. And also to thank the good Lord everyday for our health and family and everything we have! Thanks for sharing that---what an inspiration!
