    Something odd happened.....

    Saturday when I got to gig #1, I set up my equipment. It was a little chilly, and I did my sound check. When I dropped my left hand I heard a metallic 'clink'.

    I looked down and my wedding band fell off. I mean, just fell off like it never was there. I was shocked! Do we actually lose weight in our fingers too?????

    I never really paid attention to it, I suppose I'll have to get it re-sized. It happened twice yesterday and once this morning.

    Has this happened to anyone else????? This is really bizarre.

    My watch has gotten lose too, I've been able to turn it all the way around my wrist. My actual weight loss has slowed wayyyyyy down. But I guess I'm still losing. I never took measurements so I'm not positive what inches other than waist that I've lost.

    Yikes!! Fingers!! Skinny Fingers!! Maybe that's why I'm playing better. HaHa! That and the 12 - 15 gigs a month!!

    Scooter my engagement ring was worn sometimes only becuase my fingers were chubby and swolen. Now I wear it every day without issue! Yes you lose inches everywhere, and that is awesome!

      Yay Scooter.. My ring got too tight and had to be cut off of my finger 2 years ago..and I am ringless right now..lol

        Oh yeah, just happened 2 weeks ago. I had to get it resized down. I told them to drop it 4 sizes. Yep 4! Why? Because I didn't want to screw around with it constantly and it serves as a goal. Now I'm wearing rings that were in the box for years with no problems.

        Get it sized before you lose it. Congrats!

                ABSOLUTELY!! I had to get a bigger "cheapie" wedding ring to wear at my highest weight because I couldn't get my original past my knuckle. I am now wearing my original one and it is spinning on my finger. I'll have to do something about it soon.

                  YES SCOOTER!!! in fact, i noticed yesterday that my engagement ring is DANGEROUSLY loose...we have to get it to the jeweler....ASAP

                    Scooter, yep, happened to me too. I'd actually gotten to a point where I was wearing my wedding rings on my index finger...with string around it to make it tighter.

                    I don't know exactly how many sizes I went down...but it was quite a few. Since I got them resized, they've continued to get looser....but my knuckles aren't getting any smaller...so I'll have to stay at this size for a while.

                        Scooter... wait until you go down a shoe size! That happened to me, and I just couldn't believe it!

                            Yes, I wear 1 1/2 size smaller shoe and my rings have gone down two sizes. I hadn't worn my wedding ring for over 20 years -- then I got to wear it for six months after starting this program. Now...It is too big!!

                              I've definately noticed my fingers getting smaller. I've had to resize my wedding band from an 8 to a 5 1/2 (in a few increments). Even still, just yesterday it started slipping off yet AGAIN! I'm sure they're sick of me down at the store I come in to get it resized so often! There is this one woman there though that claims she loves to see me come in, it helps her "eat right and exercise." So maybe that's good.
