        Morning Ladies, And Gents (if your out there)

        Had a good weekend aside from 2 Amstel Lights yesterday at a cookout. Still out of Ketosis I am sure and Plan to make this week harcore dicipline week! I am coming back, there is no way around it, and I won't be satisfied til I am peeing out my own fat again!! LOL he he he he!!!!

          Good to hear from everyone...

          Terry, your initial post hit home with me. I would much rather stay on the computer longer than to exercise. And like you mentioned, Jess, if I don't get my cardio stuff done first thing in the morning, I don't do it at all. It's easy for me to do floor stuff when I watch TV at night, but I hate cardio lately. I am bored with walking and my bike - not to mention it is hot and humid as h*ll here most of the time... ah, summer in Louiaiana! I mentioned yesterday in a post that I was toying with the idea of Jazzercise... I need something that I love to do, so that I will do it. I am quite uncoordinated, but I could stand in the back. I just can't make up my mind, though. My 11 year old son only has 4 days left of school, and it will be hard trying to squeeze in Jazzercise around him - I am not comfortable leaving him at home by himself yet. He is destructive when he is bored. So, I guess I will have to bite the bullet and try to muster up interest in things around home. I have about a million work-out DVD's, but I get very easily bored with those. I guess it boils down to how much I want this as to what I will do about it.

          Starting Rung 2 this week. I am pretty excited about it. Not so much because I have missed things from dairy as much as I am just happy to be progressing the way I am supposed to. The first time around on Atkins, I did not force myself to try things I thought I didn't like so I was really limited on what I could eat. I am doing things right this time around and feel like I am much more in control now.

          Well, guess I will go for now. Hope everyone has a fine Atkins day!

            Mitzi, I also started rung 2 yesterday...had some lc yogurt....and was down .5 this morning. Not a huge dairy person so I'm not sure what else I can try...

            I know I keep saying it, but I really need to kick up the exercise...We are going away this coming weekend and I was hoping to be in the 150's by then...this moring I was 161...so I know I CAN DO IT!

                I couldn't part with my MP3 player and I brought it to work!

                Just wanted to add that we tried the muffin in a minute and they're wonderful! I've been using a short, fat mug and they turn out the size of English muffins. I might try one that's not sweet and cut it in half and stick an egg and piece of sausage on it for a McScooter Muffin. LOL!

                  My dh has an iPod...I steal his all the time Although, my taste in music is slightly "harder" than his I need music to do ANYTHING!!!

                    Well I am back from court... Nothing happened with my son.. he may still lose his license but they will send a letter if he does.. $146 gone.. (his money not mine)

                    Anyway.. I decided that I am going to head to the Y and do some more water walking...

                    Oh I almost forgot the reason I came back on.. I think my BIL lied about the Chicken he cooked.. I think it had some sugar in it.. I have had tummy issues this morning and heartburn.. and all I have had today is some boiled eggs..so that shouldn't be happening... GRRRR

                      Good Morning Everyone, kind of late checking in but trying to get some housework and yard work done today and been busy so i can relax with hubby later. He had to work all weekend and here lately we have been so busy trying to get our house painted and all that i cant remember just playing a card game with him or watching a whole movie without falling asleep. Well this weekend was not a good one with food choices, i was afraid of that, but back into the swing of things, and im not starting over, just picking myself up where i left off, im at 30 net carbs and all veggies, not sure if im ready to move up to dairy, so i think i will just keep it here for awhile, i love the variety in all the veggies. WEll you all have a great day and i will check in later.

                        Geez, they take you so seriously, don't they?

                        From that little bit of sugar I had yesterday, I've had tummy issues also. No heartburn but the body sure worked to get rid of the junk this morning. I can't blame anyone but myself, though. I took bites of a couple desserts and had that darn brownie. However, I know just what you mean about how you feel today.

                        Just mowed the front lawn. The knee was not happy but dealt with it. So it's a pretty safe bet to say that when mowing the lawn is comfortable, the knee and the muscles around it are in good again.

                          Morning everyone! I discovered the muffins in a minute only recently and this morning I halved the splenda and added a tsp of chopped chives. I cut it in half, and placed a low-carb sausage in it. My goodness - it was a goooood breakfast!
                          I prefer savoury to sweet - so if anyone else out there is the same, really recommend halving the sugar. 1/4 tsp of splenda is fine for me! I've added chopped rosemary too and it was lovely with just butter on it.

                          Enough about muffins! I'm getting hungry!

                          Today is weigh day for me - congrats to all who've lost today. I'm afraid TOM is visiting me too... so another stall - but I'm down 6.8"!!! Thats incredible to me. So far I'm down 26". Thats the real motivator right there!

                            Good morning all!

                            Had a pretty good weekend, last night in honor of The Sopranos I made an italian sausage marinara sauce and some of those shiritake noodles. That was fun. I was pretty shocked by the episode and I made Mr. RR hold my hand because it was too exciting!

                            Also went shopping at Macy's - had a coupon to get a certain dollar amount off and we were lucky enough to find one of those velour track suits that Mr. RR loves so much on sale and in his size. He's also been doing Atkins and he's really seeing a difference in his muscle definition as well as wearing a smaller size. The last track pants he got were XL and these are L. Not too shabby.

                            I'll have to take a photo of him in it, he loves them so much. He keeps saying "you'll love these once you start wearing them" but I'm not much into that type of leisure clothes. I feel like I look sloppy in them. I seriously envy girls who can wear that stuff and still look put together.

                            I got a sansa sandisk a few weeks ago! My only issue is that it seems to run out of batteries really fast...

                                I haven't had mine long enough to know. I do know that I didn't want to spend $32.00 for a cover and when I checked ebay today I can get covers really cheap and some of them come with a car charger. I think using a car charger might be the best way to keep it charged. I already have too much stuff plugged into my computer.
