Re: post up your favorite induction recipes
that does sound good, but i don't think i'll mess with it. it's sweet stuff that got me in the mess i'm in now... since i started up on the diet again, i haven't touched the stuff and i'm enjoying some pretty good success because of it. no cravings and great weight loss. also, i'm looking for something i could call a "meal". i've been eating hamburgers alot since i started because they are easy to make and i know i'm not dealing with any weird or hidden carbs.Originally posted by GinasfuntimeI like to mix 1 splenda and 2-3 tablespoons of cream cheese (tastes like cheese cake)
i do love me some cheesecake though.

Re: post up your favorite induction recipes
On Linda's site, I like the Green Enchilada Chicken recipe. That is SOOOOOOOOOOO good.
Chicken wings are another favorite of mine. Franks Red Hot sauce and butter on baked "naked" wings.
Chicken and broccoli "alfredo" Sautee chicken and broccoli in some olive oil. Add a tbspn of butter and powdered parmesan cheese in the can. Let it cook for 30 seconds or so, slowly stir in a couple tbspns of whole cream to make the "alfredo" sauce. This is delish!~Joy
Start 1/2/06 Goal 6/11/07 restart 1/2/09

QUIT SMOKING JULY 23, 2006 while on Atkins

Just when you think you've eaten enough vegetables...EAT SOME MORE!

Re: post up your favorite induction recipes
ok, currently preheating my over to make this crust. i have it all made up, just need to cook it... looks and smells pretty decent. we'll see.
i won't actually be making the full pizza though... i'm thinking i'll add some cheese and mushrooms for the topping and call it good.

Re: post up your favorite induction recipes
update... i made this pizza crust and it's pretty decent. i did do things a little differently though... i used a baking stone rather than a pizza pan. i also didn't use any spray or wax paper... no problems.
anyway, this is actually very tastey. the bottom side is darker just like real pizza crust and the edges are nice crispy. This stuff is the real deal. It's very good as is and i may not put anything on it... just slice it up and have a piece with my dinner or something.

Re: post up your favorite induction recipes
I bought pork rinds so I can give that pizza crust a try...is it REALLY that good?
I posted this recipe a while back and although I'm not a big fish person I love this recipe!!
Red Snapper w/tomato olive sauce
Serving Size : 2
Preparation Time 20
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 sm onion -- chopped
1 cl garlic -- minced
5 Greek olives -- black, pit and chop
3/4 cup chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp capers
1/4 cup dry red wine
1 pinch red pepper flakes -- optional
2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 lb red snapper -- fillets 750g
The lusty flavors of classic Italian puttanesca sauce, tomatoes, capers, black olives have a wonderful affinity for firm-fleshed red snapper. Serve with Wax Beans with Garlic-Tarragon Vinaigrette
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking. Add the onion, garlic, and olives. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes, or until the onion is transparent. Add the tomatoes, capers, wine, and red pepper flakes, if using. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the butter in another large skillet over medium heat until the foam subsides. Cook the snapper for 2 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned. Transfer the snapper to the tomato mixture in the skillet, cover, and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, or until the snapper just flakes. Serve immediately. Serves 2

Re: post up your favorite induction recipes
I'm a chicken wings fan too. We don't get any pre-packaged wings over here in Italy, just the regular butcher's ones.
I like to deep-fry them and then sprinkle them with a half and half mixture of salt and 5 spice powder (I hope 5 spice is induction legal... I think it is, but actually only did these wings in pre-maintenance).
Awesome!Before and after:
