    i hate these days... seems like i can't get enough food throughout the day. i don't let it get to me though because i've already lost almost 20lbs. pretty sweet.

    Way to go!! I have those days, too. But I find they are counteracted by the days that I'm not hungry enough or don't have time enough to meet my BMR calorie goal. Drink lots of water to help fill the space!!!




    1st mini goal- 225 lbs.-Done!

    3rd mini goal-189 lbs.-Done!

      congrats on the weight loss!!!!!!neeeto! pork rinds seems to do the trick for me have you tried them also I love to snack on cocktail shrimp no sauce just a squirt of lime.

        last time i did Atkins, i abused porkrinds and paid the price.

        this time the only things i've eaten are wholes foods that i've had to prepare myself. i'm totally cool with it and thus far, have not had one sweet snack. i keep thinking i might make the cheesecake, but i never do and thats cool.

        i would like to add a few new recipes to my diet, but until i do, i'm having pretty good success this time around by not messing with the "snacks".

          sugar free jello and cheese sticks are a great snack for me...keep up the great work

            I get the days where I eat all day too..and usually some kind of protein helps me...Pure meat... You are doing great!

              CobraDan, good for you for staying away from the things that got you into trouble. They are hard things to give up too.

              For many of us, snacking on bad foods is what got us into the fat clothes we're wearing. But continuing the BEHAVIOUR of snacking is what's going to KEEP US FAT for a lifetime. Not only do we have to cut out the bad food, but what we REALLY need to cut out is the bad BEHAVIOR. I'm saying this because it is something I recognize in myself. It's a hard behavior to break too, so KUDOS to you!!

              As for being hungry...if you are really HUNGRY...EAT. Belly growling hungry, light headed hunger should be FED. Eat a protein and fat snack..or if you don't want to call it "snack", you might want to PLAN mini-meals and only eat them when you have hungry days. I have hungry days too, particularly on days when I've gotten a good workout in.
