    Happy Wednesday STACer's! Good morning everybody, it's kind of a gloomy rainy day, but I have faith it will get sunny later.

    Just wanted to start things off with a great big howdy, and say have a wonderful day!!

    Supposed to get thunderstorms here later which I am looking forward to...love the rain

    And let me just "clarify" my cheat weekend...nothing crazy, maybe some fries and popcorn. Maybe nothing at all. I was never a sweets person, so deserts usually don't bother me. We are going somewhere where a lot revolves around "home cookin'". I have a gluten allergy/sensitivity, so no bread for me. Plus, my ivf cycle is in the works, so I don't want any sugar/gluten in my system for now anyway.

    Ok, off to get ready for work!

      Morning all.... its looking cloudy and gloomy over here in Ireland too. Our sunshine streak seems to be over for now.
      Busy working from home this morning - out with customers this afternoon.
      Had a lovely brekkie.... scrambled eggs and grilled bacon - love it when I'm at home - no rush in getting brekkie organised!
      Havn't got any water in yet and its almost 12midday, so better get going!

          Good morning everyone

          Happy Birthday OBKBBBY! I have the sunny morning and possible Thunderstorms later.. I hate Thunderstorms.. it makes my dog crazy... he is so scared.. and then of course I can't be on the computer during a storm...

          My daughter has a "guy" friend coming over today.. So I am fixing them Hamburgers on my NEW GRILL Hubby just hooked up the gas for me this morning.

          Just relaxing today.. Oh I picked up a pack of steaks yesterday for me I tell you I am truly obsessed with shopping for meat...lol I usually never find good buys and my husband does.. But lately the store by my daughters dance studio has had some good prices.. I need to get another freezer and stock up.. I have been going there at 9 at night..

            Okay, how about an unplanned cheat? Last night we went to our favorite wing place and ordered a bunch of wings. I got the garlic parmesan. They looked a little funny. They're using some flour or something now! We didn't know until they were already at the table and not wanting to waste all that food, we ate them. The old kind actually tasted better! I also had two glasses of wine. Even with all that, my carb count was still okay for yesterday, but my head sure feels it! I had planned to walk in the rain as penance but the lightening scared me inside.

              Ok....haha.......let's clarify.....to set the record straight.

              How about, no 'cheats'. No 'planned cheats' no 'unplanned cheats'. no 'surprise cheats' no 'celebration cheats' no 'cheat cheats' no 'nothing with the word - cheat in it'

              Maybe that will shed a little light! haha.

              Sheepie, they slipped you 'flour mickey' the buttheads!!

              SANDY - I'm the same way, I get the bank card, and I'm like look, steak is 25% off, I need this, these, oh look, these, those, 4 of those.......obviously I don't get the bank card that much.....haha!!! I spent like $50 on meat the other day, but I walked out with 15 or so really nice steaks. How can you tell someone is on Atkins? Look in they're refrigerator and freezer - heavy cream, cheese and meat. We do love our food don't we!

              Oh yes.....no 'shopping cheats' either. haha!!

              We'll just take that little word 'cheat' and put it in this box and close the lid and never mention it again.

                  Good morning, all. Thanks for the birthday wishes! One of my instructional assistants is on maintenance for this WOL and she said she might surprise me with an Atkins-friendly treat today. Yay!

                      Cheating always always gets me in a place I can't get out of! No kidding, it posions me...then for some unknown reason I can't get back, I can't return to Atkins for the longest time...It's like I've stopped all momentum and can't get the big ball rolling. I'm watching my neighbor go through this right now, she took a trip and planned on a few stops at her old eating places, and planned to go off plan, feeling like she could bounce right back, that was in March...She is miserable, and slowly gaining everything back and TOO TIRED TO EXERCISE WITH ME NOW... I suggest we do a crash 2 weeker, induction-city and exercise...I'd drop down and walk it out with her. BUT ONLY IF SHE WOULD RESPECT THE DIET, and NOT CHEAT!
                      Bless anyone's heart who can endure going off and if you can get back, you are BLESSED!
                      Me, i failed at Atkins so many times that this wonderful 10month season of success is more valuable to me than just about anything. How I have hung in there with my mother's illness and now death, is a miracle to me. What I have kept going on a daily basis is a new life and she saw me build it one day at a time until she passed. I will be here at my 1 yr anniversary, I will be successful because I am not going to give it away not one time....I don't bounce back so easily.

                        HAPPY BIRTHDAY OBKBBBY!!! Hope your day is FABULOUS!

                        I am baffled over this sore throat I keep getting, I think it must be allergies. I don't feel sick but the sore throat will not go away arg! It makes my stomach upset as well and then I don't want to eat. I'm afraid I'm going too low in calories but making myself eat is BLECH.

                        I hope everyone has a great day!! I promised a friend I'd go shopping with her today (twist my arm why don't cha lol) so I have to get myself and the young'un ready to go. After a yummy eggs and bacon breakfast of course! Thank goodness that sounds appetizing today....

                          Good morning, all.

                          Just checking in and encouraging everyone to do what you have to for your health.

                          I may have to change my workout goals for this month - it sounds like I'm going to be out of commission for a while (like two weeks... grrr!) Careful videos and walking should be ok but abs, biking, and anything that stresses the neck will be out for a while. In fact, so may be driving; apparently I won't be able to turn my head. This is going to be SO irritating! I'm too independent to rely on others for more basic stuff.

                          But if this winds up correcting a lot of my health issues, boy, it'll be worth it.

                          Lots to do today with a lot of stairwork. So I'm saving the bikeride for afterwards.

                              I, too, do not believe in the whole 'planned cheats', or 'breaks', or 'carbloading' or whatever. This is my second time around...for a reason. Not following the plan, cheating, making my own rules, etc. This time, I plan. I don't plan to cheat. I plan VERY CAREFULLY to NOT cheat.

                              Look at the people who are at goal. Ask them if they plan cheats or cheat or whatever. The answer is "no". THAT'S WHY they've made goal.

                              Okay, today I'm down to 188!! YAY!
