    A glorious Good Morning, all!

    It may be rainy and icky outside but the "sun" is shining inside. I want to start getting back on track here. It always stuns me how quickly my motivation for anything goes in the hole when I'm not feeling well. The effects of the operation must finally be subsiding because the desire to continue to regain my health is alive and strong today.

    So first things first! Get the water for today ready and start slugging it down! And try to wash the rest of the residual chemicals from the operation out of my body!

    Wow! Everyone is sleeping in, I guess. I'm just dropping in for a sec. Have testing this morning here at school, so need to get going.

      I'm wondering where Scooter is too?

      I am BEAT today - the LOST finale really got me all hopped up and I could not fall asleep last night, then once I did I had crazy vivid dreams all night so I feel like I didn't rest at all.

      You know what is amazing to me this week? I'm not even having to think about eating properly - it JUST HAPPENS. I don't have to talk myself out of eating food just for fun or to ease stress, I only eat WHEN HUNGRY. It's just astounding to me, I haven't been like this since I was a kid! Now if only the exercise part would come as naturally

        Good Morning everyone. .We have had a good week weather wise.. Nice and Sunny.. My husband is a self employed tree climber.. so we need the sunny weather

        Its been an interesting week here... My sons truck broke down Tuesday night..its fixed now...fuel pump.. Yesterday my daughters friend..his water pump went out on his car.....and he had to stay overnight so that it could be fixed this morning.. And yesterday my oil light kept coming on everytime my car is idling.. My car just came out of the shop last friday.. GRRRR..

        But in the midst of all this stress I am still on program.. later today I am going to go to the Y and do something cardio and do weights...

          Oh man, you're doing weights now?! First, GOOD FOR YOU! That'll boost everything for you!

          Second, I'm so kicking myself for not buying the weight set that was in a thriftsale last year...

          Third, can't hardly wait for this neck to heal enough to ride bike and start weights - no pressure on the neck for TWO WEEKDS! ugh!! If my stomach settles down, I'm going to try a light video today just to move.

            Good morning everyone! What a beautiful day!!! I just finished breakfast, and can't wait to go for my morning walk. I can't believe how great I feel!!! I will never go back to my old lifestyle. This one rocks!!!

              Good morning everyone. I think Scooter had a gig go bad and now he's sitting in jail somewhere! LOL! Or maybe he's just busy with work.

              Nice family bike ride last night. I hope the weather holds out for another one tonight.

                Today is a GLORIOUS day! 186.4 pounds on the scale this morning. YAY!!!

                Doggone Lipton unsweetened iced tea with high fructose corn syrup had me losing sooooooooo slow for 10 months!

                If you are losing slow...check EVERY SINGLE THING you put in your mouth. Even trace amounts can add up and cause problems. Every thing you DRINK, every supplement you swallow, Everything you eat! If you are eating out somewhere...ASK what's in the ingredients in both foods AND beverages. Don't take it for granted that the steak isn't injected with sugar water, or that the cheese sauce doesn't contain flour or starch, or that the UNSWEET TEA doesn't really have HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!!!!!!!

                  Oh dear. I just opened a bottle of Gatorade because the water I'm trying to drink just made me throw up. Oh well, got to deal with recovering from surgery first, I guess... poop.

                    Skinny, this is becoming second nature to me, too. It's so much better this time around than the first, isn't it? To all of you second-timers who are just beginning and wondering if you can do this - you CAN!

                    Sandy - go girl! Working out with weights!

                    Suzy and Sheepie - Way to get out of the house and exercise! I am about to go for a morning walk, myself.

                    Joy - scales moving at last! I am still shocked about the iced tea thing. The fact that there is high fructose corn syryp in unsweetened iced tea makes me paranoid about ever eating out or eating anything I didn't prepare myself.

                        Morning all! Im supposed to be at work right now, but somethings wrong with my truck, so Im stuck at home for the time being. I hope its not anything too serious, I cant really afford for something major to be wrong with it right now. Poo.

                        Im very proud of myself, I havent weighed in three days. Woo Hoo! I feel fantastic though. Ive been back with this WOL for a month now, and I couldnt be happier. I know that Im not gonna wake up tomorrow morning and magically have a bathing suit ready body, but I do know that Im working towards it every single day. And thats awesome. It helps that my DH hugs me and loudly exclaims how much smaller I am! He makes this so much easier.

                        Anyway, I hope you all have a great day! STAC ROCKS!

                          Mitzi--I'm TOTALLY paranoid now. I went into my cabinets and looked for anything with that stuff in it and threw it away. I found some sausage that had it (1 g carb per sausage) but it has the HFCS in it. ACK! That stuff will not pass these lips again! I was just telling my DH this morning that I really don't want to eat out because I can't read a nutrition label!

                            Sounds like everyone's doing great today


                            I ate out at the campus yesterday for lunch before giving a presenation, and I think I OD'd on the fruit a bit more than I should have. But, man, it was better than eating the cookies, brownies, ice cream...and the list goes on.

                            Thankfully the scale didn't show a gain this morning....still 205 (up 2 from last weekend's bout of being sick), but I'll wait until Saturday to mark the number and pray while walking like a mad woman that I'll see 203 then. Yes, I'm wishful thinking. LOL.

                              No, I don't allow myself to change signature until my "official" weigh day which is on Tuesday. If it "sticks" on Tuesday, I'll change it.
