I need help counting a marinade

Hi everyone:

I was wondering how y'all count a marinade. I marinaded some chicken tonight and when I grilled it, there was quite a bit left in the bowl.

Do I measure how much I use and then subtract what is left in the bowl?

How would you all count this?

Honestly, I don't think that I have ever counted the marinade carbs, although I am sure I should. I really haven't given it much thought until your post. Perhaps, a pro will stop in and give some advice.

I would do that...subtract the amount left in the bowl and divide what you took in by the number of servings. I havent started marinating things yet, but that is how I plan to do it. What kind of marinade did you make?

Thanks for the advice gue: I rubbed some Boneless chicken breast in a Singapore Spice Blend (tastes a little like tai) and then marinated it in coconut milk. I grilled it and cut it up and put it on a salad.

There was quite a bit left over, and I just wanted to know how to count it.
