    Re: Sunday Roll Call

Hello, Everyone. I have been stopping by to read everyone's posts, but not posting very often. Congrats on the whooshies out there.

This week has been a bust for me. No loss at all. Last week was also not great. I, actually, think I am not eating enough. I am exercising a lot and I am just not hungry at all. I'm still eating three meals per day, but I am probably getting in 800 calories or less. I burn that much on the elliptical most days, so I know that isn't great... It is actually physically hard for me to eat much these days, though. When I try to force myself I feel nauseous! Blah.

My brother's wedding is three weeks from yesterday. I don't think I am going to make it into a size 8. I am getting pretty discouraged!

Welcome Bird! Nice to see you here.
Ann, eating under 1000 calories a day is not good~~I know what it feels like when the thought of eating makes you sick, but you really need to. It'll probably give you a little weight loss too! Otherwise you're in starvation mode and your body will hang on to every bit of fat it can.

        Mornin Everyone!

A bright and sunny day here on the prairies...yay! I'm going to go for a long bike ride with my daughter when she gets home from work, then we will cut the hedges and do some yard work. I think that will be the exercise for the day

Otherwise nothing exciting, just so happy to see the sun after several days of gloom and rain...sheesh.

Sandy....I know how it is when those Twizzlers call you...hehehe. Good job for resisting. Old habits die hard don't they?

I'm definately not a PC bathroom break checker...would have to go downstairs for that and it ain't happenin...lol.

Jess.....Glad to hear you are back in ketosis...it is great isn't it.

        Alaska/Stefanie & Luvmybabies & Birdzprincezz....Welcome...nice to meet you.

Ann...I get that way too some days where I look at my FitDay total and its not enough calories. Its hard to make yourself eat when you aren't hungry because I think I associate that with how I became overweight in the first place. I used to eat out of boredom or if I watched tv. So, its a battle in my mind really, trying to reprogram myself and making myself eat the Atkins way even when I'm not that hungry. Its crazy...lol.

MorningGlory! Good mornin g/f. Hows things on the west coast? Hope you are having a good weekend! I may look into the exercise challenge thing myself. Have to find one I know I will do though...

Welcome to our new STAC members, check in here daily because it's very friendly and motivating!

Ann - I find I am losing a LOT faster now that I am tracking with Fitday and upping my calories. I try to stagger them - one day I get about 1200 the next 1700 then 1200 then 1700. I didn't actively try that, but it just naturally seemed to work out that way and I've been losing 2 lbs a week!!

Well, today was the day. First day in a bathing suit. Wasn't bad at all, if I was still 16 lbs heavier I would have been so upset. ALL the other moms at the pool were in BIKINIS. Not gonna happen here I'm afraid. So I still felt pretty dowdy and WHITE (man I need some color - I'm gonna try Mystic Tanning!) but I didn't worry so much about my belly roll!

I already need to start shopping for a new suit. Mine still fits but it's a little loose in the bum and def too big in the chest. My gut of course fills it out just fine

Have a great weekend everyone! And thanks to all our service men and women and vets

Hello, everyone! Yes, I'm late checking in. We have been in our new little pool! It was fun and good exercise. Now, I'm ravenous! We are going out to a buffet for my MIL's bday. Lots of salad, veggies and a steak. Yum!

Sounds like most everyone is cool. Glad everyone is having a nice weekend.

Also, I know we all remember our military men and women on Memorial Day here in the states. Please also remember our firefighters, police officers and EMT's - and all the others in service! Thanks!

I'm not actually near the west coast, but will forgive you for that. same province though.

The mileage challenge is a good one because you pledge however many miles you think you can do in a month and then it's up to you how to do them...walk, run, swim, bike...easy peasy!

Good afternoon, Hello to our new friends. Nice to have you here. Went shopping with my daughter this morning but did not find anything. I was glad to see I fit into a smaller size pant I did not buy any because am hoping for a size 10 when I lose the rest of my weight. I was stalled for a long time but have started losing again, patience is key and I have to remember I will lose it just not on my timetable.

                  Re: Sunday Roll Call

Hi - just checking in, all's still well and cheat free on day 7"!
am going to do a quick weigh and measure as I wasn't feeling any different at all and getting all panicky, but my boyfriend comented that I look more svelte today, so maybe am just paranoid!

Also - have bought a beautiful mountain bike!! My boyf loves to mountain bike so it gives us another hobby to do together - we went for an hour and three quarters yesterday and I really enjoyed it but it is really hard work: sort of a interval training thing of resistance (on uphills) and CV work! So this way, I can justify not joining the gym!

Have been feeling a bit rough today - can't pinpoint why, headachey and last night very nauseous . Have a feeling it was because we drove to london and back and got caught in the most almighty traffic jam which meant that I'd gone 7 hours without eating or even drinking much (didn't want to have to keep needing the bathroom, like I usually do, on such a long journey!), and then I went riding all afternoon, so maybe I'd just got too hungry and dehydrated - I managed to still control my portions when I did eat though, which I was pleased at, and I also ended up having more than enough water too.

anyway feeling much better now and kind of looking forward to getting the initial weigh-in/measuring over and done with - would be nice to change my ticker...

That's probably exactly why you feel yucko....I was feeling a little fuzzy just now so had a bowl of broccoli-slaw and now I feel better.
That's great that you got a mountain bike! Are you doing mostly trail riding? I'd like to do that, but I'm afraid of bears and we have a bunch of them where I live!

Hey SpeedyT! You'll be in those size 10's before you know it!

hi everyone...the weather here today is gorgeous! i had to work early and then took the dog out for a long walk. when i got home i was tired so i took a nap...i am having some cravings...not for sweet, for texture...not quite sure how to deal with that b/c i can't pinpoint the texture. anyway, i think it's because i am tired that i am feeling like eating...my headaches are gone, i am still feeling strong.

hope everyone has a good day. and, i check the computer during potty breaks too. you bet!

                        hey, y'all

better late then never. I was soo busy today. It sounds like everyone had great plans for today and I can't wait to check in tomorrow.

I organized my garage. Including, but not limited to new shelves. Now I can get both vehicles in the garage. I decluttered and i feel soo good.

Just a little touch ups for tomorrow!
