    Good morning, everyone! Sounds like everyone is doing pretty good! We are going out in a bit to the pool and hang out. Then we're grilling later. It's going to be a nice day with the family only. Beautiful day, too!

    Tomorrow I'm going back to induction. Like Jess, I can't wait to get back into ketosis! Starting unofficially today, but will make Tuesdays official weigh-in and measurement days. I've been doing that haphazardly and it makes it harder to keep track of.

    Sandy - Great job! The planning ahead makes things so much easier! I've been very lucky - my dh has been behind me all the way. He even offers to eat with me so I don't "feel left out." I keep telling him I don't feel that way, but it's nice of him to offer. He would like to do Atkins and is talking about trying, but being a truck driver, it would be very hard. He doesn't actually get to too many truck stops where they have diners and a variety of foods. He ends up sitting at stores (he delivers to Target) and mini-malls, occasionally some rest areas, where all they have is fast food. While he could get bunless burgers and grilled chicken and a salad, that would get VERY old after awhile! He keeps some food with him and sometimes has access to a microwave at his dispatch office. But his truck isn't equipped with a mini fridge the way some are. But he's very supportive of me - which was the point of the this whole long-winded dissertation.

    Jess - I'm coming with you to ketosis-land! Thinking about you and your family, too. Hang in there.

    Terry - I know you can't wait until you can exercise some!

      Hey everybody, how is everyone today? tmn, are you feeling better? Sorry to hear about your surgeries. Is everything good now?

      Well, I plan on getting my final challenge done for the May Double Whammy Challenge, Chores and Exercise today. You guys ought to join next month. They're talking about having another one for June. Everyone's welcome. You get two things done at once this way. I opted to clean out my walk-in closet and paint it. It's needed done for a couple years now. I painted the room but left the closet and it now looks yellow compared to it. I didn't realize how MUCH work this was going to be. Well, that's probably why I put it off for so long.

      Nice to hear everyone's still losing, and striving to get there. I'm hangin in. My scales move back and forth and I wait, and wait.

      I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday.

          21 pounds is nothing to sneeze at, that's a nice start, Sandy.

          My weight has been flutuating ten pounds through the surgeries. First Friday, 242.6. First Saturday, 251.5. Second Friday, 242.0, second Saturday, 251.0....whew... can't wait for things to stabelize. Hopefully, I'm done with surgeries for a long time.

          I have to wait another week before I can bikeride again - man, do I miss that! I may attempt a walk around the block today. Time to start testing muscles and response time to see if the thyroid cancer had anything to do with all my physical ailments I've been dealing with for too long. Praying for that miracle that so many problems will turn around now and I'll be much stronger and healthier than I've been in a long time.

          Geeeeezzz, time sure slowed down this first hour... grrr!...

          LOL!
          Hang in there Terry..you are going to be feeling good again soon..

            Going to get ready to take my trip. Hopefully can check in tomorrow AM before I leave. I plan on eating out but sticking with salads and putting good snacks in the mini frig. Will probably be working a LOT so that won't be an issue.
            Hi Speedy Turtle.. You know.. I have always been a go with the flow kind of person.. That is what got me up to 289... But Planning has been the key to my success this time.. You know I get called Situation Sandy all the time on here and its true.. I never have the same two days..lol

            Just like yesterday..I planned before I went to Surry...where there is no grocery stores.. I took Hamburger.. Broccoli and Fries (for everyone else) we cooked the burgers on the grill.. Oh I took Cheese too Cause this family eats Fat Free cheese.. Those burgers were soooooo yummy.. Although I thought I was going to eat two..but only ate one..lol

            I want to win this battle this time so badly..and its the only way I will do it

              My hubby is getting better... But I am sure he was like..Another diet.. She won't stick to it.. Well 9 weeks and here I am What I am worried about is my family eating my Higher Fat food while they are still eating tons of carbs.. Especially my daughter.. I don't want her getting fat off the foods I am eating for myself.. Cause I know you can't do High Fat with High Carbs...
