I am very apprehensively restarting Atkins after being off for quite some time. About 3 years ago, I went from my highest weight (223) to my current weight (179 or so) in a matter of months, then spent the next 3 years yo yo'ing between Atkins and a low cal diet to try to get below that number. I have been unsuccessful in losing any more weight, although I have maintained.
After 3 months of STRICT 1500 calorie low cal/high fiber diet, the scale has not moved. Therefore, I am planning to restart the only plan that has ever gotten results for me, ATKINS. I am very nervous to go back on Atkins, as I miss eating summer fruits and vegetables in unlimited quantities and I do not look forward to the constipation, breath, etc. However, Atkins has been the only thing that has WORKED for me EVER!!
Has anyone else been apprehensive about restarting Induction and if so what did you do to overcome?
