  • Need to get back on track

I've had great success with Atkins and have made real life changes in my diet. This I am proud of, however, my snacking has gotten out of control. It started out just with regualar BBQ sauce, beans & coleslaw at a BBQ & then I was eating a chocolate doughnut & craving sugar every day & giving in & snacking on all the wrong things. I am really out of control! I think doing induction again is the only way I can get my sweet tooth under control.

So I'm back and ready to lose the weight I've put on & get sugar out of my diet!

    Hi Sugargirl,

Welcome back to ADBB and this WOL.

I had real issues with cheating for a long time and someone (I think it was Heidi) said that a cheat creates the next cheat by setting up a craving. It seems obvious, but it hadn't really occured to me that way and remembering this helps me stay focused.

If you want a bit of accountability swing by the no-cheat thread where some of us see how far we can make it without a cheat.

Good luck getting back into it all

Welcome back Sugargirl, yep thats how it happens the ol snowball effect. The only sweet thing I have now is sugar free Jello, because I am a sugar addict and know that if I start down that slippery sweet road I will keep going. Keep on track and when you want a sweet drink a cup of tea or go for a walk or something/anything but eat that one little bite.
