It really made sense to me when I read it too. They stressed that we have high days and low days if you weigh yourself on a low day this week, and a high day next week, you could falsely think you have not lost weight, and get discouraged. You really do start to see patterns that are unique to you and after a while you know what to expect from the scale. I have to sit down and do my averages today. I have been writing the numbers down, but rarely start to average until my third week, you really cannot compare until then.
