  • Ready, Set, Go...again

    Hi everyone,

I am starting over after giving in to bingeville over the last week. Bleh!!!! So NOT worth it!!! I ate so much junk I couldn't even get a good nights sleep! I also gained 7 lbs back due to the pizza and Chinese food. ICK!!!

So today is my shopping and prep day and tomorrow starts my Induction again. Can't wait to get this weight back off!!! My best friend is getting married June 30th and I'm maid of honor. That's motivation for me to go clean Induction and no missed workouts until that day. And this time my goal is to try to stay on plan even at the wedding.

I’m working out 5 days a week M-F and I’ve set a goal to not miss any for June. My reward will be a facial to go with the massage I earned for losing my first 10 lbs. Each time the scale hits the lower ‘9’ I’m treating myself to a massage, a new pair of shoes, a CD, or...something non food that will motivate me to the next level!

I was losing about 1 lb a day and had lost 16lbs since starting my plan the 1st of May. I can’t believe we look at accomplishments like that and screw up with cheating anyway!!!! Not this time! The way I feel now is like a true ‘hit bottom’ and it is motivation to start feeling healthy again. So wish me luck!

Oh, and one other thing. I’ve never used the vitamins or those sticks that turn purple…anyone know where I can buy some?

......Bingeville.... I am surprised I didn't see you there but perhaps I couldn't see over the brownies, choc. chip cookies, chocolates etc. that my DSIL always puts out.

nturtle--you don't HAVE to use ketosticks...I've never used them, and I've been successful. They're found in the pharmacy section with the diabetic stuff. I know that you can cut them in half lengthwise and double your supply, as they're rather expensive.

As far as supplements, I have noticed a HUGE improvement in energy, mood, and function since I began taking them regularly. A good multivitamin with NO IRON is a must. No need to buy "special" multivitamins--just buy Centrum Silver, or any vitamin for adults over 50. For more specific supplement advice, hop in to the vitanutrient/supplement forum and ask Biogeek what you should take. She's a pro and can give you the best advice!

Welcome back to ADBB, you can do it!

            Re: Ready, Set, Go...again

Loving the support you guys!!! I'm so excited to be back on the straight and narrow. A friend of mine said she's been doing it and lost 25 lbs in 6 weeks. I didn't even know she was doing it!

Its seeing how the people around me are not cheating and are making progress that motivates me not to cheat again. I don't want to think "if only" anymore!

Like you I just have to remember to keep coming back here. That was another mistake I made, not using the support systems. You really need them!
