    August 30th: PT test/Weigh in for the Naval Academy!!!
    Inches lost since May 28th: 2.5 Thighs, 1 hips, 2 waist

      Just read everyones posts on roll call so far this morning.

      Sandy...My new name for you is Whirlwind Sandy....sheesh. I get tired just readin what you are up to each day! You go girl! No doubt you will continue to have success! Good Job!

      Lisa...I'm really so sorry. I can't imagine how this feels. I'm proud of you though for not turning to food for comfort. Stay strong!

      skinnymom...I too am curious as to what "dry brushing" is

      Everyone else...good job on the inches and pounds lost. Keep up the good work.

      Myself...I feel like I'm retaining water today...sort of puffy. I can't imagine upping my water intake though as I struggle to get through about 85 ozs a day now as it is. Oh well, we will see what happens I guess.

      Going to plant my bedding plants this weekend. Supposed to be warm and sunny starting tomorrow...yayyyyyy!

          I didn't know what dry brushing was until a few days ago either! Julie does it I think.....you brush your whole body with a natural bristle brush and it is supposed to help your circulation and skin appearance. I'm hoping it will firm up my looser areas (from childbirth) and maybe reduce the look of my stretchmarks. It feels really good! Just do a search for "dry skin brushing" and it will bring up all sorts of stuff.

          I also have keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and after just doing it once today they feel MUCH smoother so I think that is going to really help me in that area as well.

            LOL...Well I guess I can't be situation Sandy anymore..Cause I seem to have worked through pretty much any situation I could be in...lol
            We decided to eliminate getting the ID card... I went to the Y alone..my daughter was being lazy..lol She had dance class last night so it isn't like she doesn't exercise.. We are going to stay the night away..which saves about $9...3 gallons of gas..

            Taking my cooler with me.. Going to fix me a Muffin in the morning with 2 eggs and I should be good to go..

                good morning friends! i am doing well today. i am so tempted to weigh and measure but am holding off until sunday...i don't want to trigger any crazy in my world today...lol...i just received a beautiful package from a friend of my mothers'...it's a gorgeous plaque that says, "write your sorrows in the sand...carve your blessings in stone." i just graduated last month (may) with my doctorate and my mother died in the middle of this journey...all her friends are so proud and have been writing me cards and sending me thoughtful gifts. i feel very blessed, most definitely.

                i hope everyone has a great day. lisa, my thoughts are with you. thanks for letting us all support and encourage you. here's to everyone having a positive and productive day.

                  Michelle yep, that's it. Do read first how to do it, you brush toward your heart. Also be sure to buy a natural bristle brush and not synthetic because apparently those scratch your skin.

                    A little follow up...I'm down 25lbs!!! Yea! I haven't listed any "mini-goals" but 25lbs feels like an accomplishment! Only 77lbs to go! LOL! Even just another 50lbs would be great! Will be great.

                      hi everyone!
                      Just came back from yoga class. It was Great! So glad I jumped over that hurdle and started to go. It is so close to my house, I have no excuses... although, I had no problem coming up with some. I bought a 10 session pass that is only good for June, so now I will have to go! Which is will give me about 2-3 per week which is perfect for right now. I sweated like crazy. That's good! combined with walking 30 minutes per day... 5 days a week... I think that's good for now.
                      Also stayed away from soda yesterday. I am hoping my aches and pains will go away soon. I should just book a massage anyways, I haven't had one in so long.
                      I started weighing everyday! What a nut I am... but it's not moving up at all... steady for 3 days at 200... that's good. Can't wait to break that barrior.
                      You guys really encourage me in this WOE. thank you for logging on everyday and listening....
                      Today have to grocery shop. i need to plan some meals my whole family can eat.
                      Also want to do some planting in the garden... and I am helping a friend with the flowers for her daughters' wedding... so have to go over to her house for a couple of hours this afternoon. (silk flowers) also really want to sew! and darn! gotta clean too! ack!
                      Tomorrow my daughter has a dance concert again... Love to see her dance. It warms my heart sooo much.

                        Hello everyone. Really enjoy reading everyone's posts.

                        Where do you all weigh yourselves? On carpet or linoleum? I weigh on carpet, but moved it to linoleum this morning and WOW..it weighed me more! I moved it back to carpet and it weighed me less. I've been upset ever since. Now I'm not sure of what I weigh! Harmony, that triggered my crazy...lol. So sorry you lost your Mom, but you went on to graduate with a DOCTORATE! WOW. Truly impressive! And such a beautiful sentiment on that plaque. How nice of her friends to remember you and Her too.

                        Sheepie, 25 pounds! You go girl. That's terrific!

                        Liz, you're really exercising hard now. Yoga is impressive too.

                        Hope today brings lots of good surprises to you all, and not the BAD kind.

                              Sorry... I am very sure that scales are not accurate on carpet; they need to be on a hard, solid surface.
                              So it's true you may weigh a little more than you thought, but the good news is, you have still lost the same amount of weight!

                                I weigh on linoleum.

                                hopejoy--YAYYYYYYYYYYY for yoga! You will notice such an increase in strength and flexibility...and quite possibly, your mood will improve, too. Not that it needs to improve but I notice when I do yoga regularly, I'm calmer, and not so easily stressed.
