    Cock a Doodle Doo!!!!!

    I'm up had coffee and off to marathon school.

    Got some new running shoes last night and some special socks that are suppose to keep your feet more comfortable. Evidently, cotton holds moisture in.

    Ya know, my Mama always told me to wear cotton socks and cotton panties. (kinda like the yellow snow, eh, Mitzi?) Keeps things dry and breathable. Well, evidently it doesn't.

    Anyway, we are getting instruction on proper running form and today is our 30 min run walk.

    I will keep you all posted.

    Morning! We're up early here too, taking the kids out for the day so that my husband and FIL can paint the living room, bathroom and kitchen.

        Buffy, I would bet that all the dry-wick fabrics now available were NOT on the market when your Momma told you what to wear! I love my cotton too...
        Great picture of you, gosh you are stunning. Got that Florida sunshine look about ya!

        Karen, glad you are up and moving, i'm sure all the Atkins-energy is helping.

        I'm moving slow this morning, my legs are hurting for high milage this week. I might bike or jog...Just finished up a week long conference at church, and am pretty tired...off to the pool today and yard work!

            Good morning everyone. Barely awake here.

            My mother always said to wear cotton and natural fibers too. She talked about wrinkled clothes like it was a positive thing because it showed that you were wearing natural fibers. I recently bought some socks made from bamboo which I thought was weird, but they're supposed to be very absorbent.

            The couple that owns the company where I work live out of state and work in our branch office there. Well, Monday they're coming here for the summer. I've been hearing from my out of state coworkers that they are cracking down...no comfy clothes, they want skirts and blouses (sorry, not gonna happen here), nice shoes and everyone is practically chained to their desks. One girl who is pregnant has given up lunch--no eating, drinking and peeing at work to please them!! I'll stop wearing sneakers but I really don't want to stop drinking water. I take about 6 bathroom breaks (under 2min each) and they're going to have a fit. These people often forget that we are people too and not just employee robots. Most of the year I work in the fun, laid back office. What to do?

            We have a ton of stuff to do this weekend to get ready for vacation, but I'm going to make sure to walk. The weather is supposed to be bad next week, so I gotta walk when I can.

              Good morning, all! I think the sun is going to finally come out today! Going back to school today to try and finish up packing. Then maybe some shopping and a dip in the pool with ds. Also have some craft projects to finish up for Father's Day.

                Morning, rain rain rain this morning. Getting rdy for work. July 14th will be the last day for my part time job. YeeHaw!! This morning I am truely back to 155, another YeeHaw! I got a little carried away, a little something extra here or there. Glad I stopped that junk before it got out of hand. Going to re read the owl section in my book, I am sooooo tired when I cut back enough to actually lose weight. I am doing something wrong because I should be feeling energized.
                Oh Sheepie, I hate to wear skirts. The preg girl in your office will rethink that when she gets a uti from not going, or when she gets farther along.

                  Good morning everyone. It is absolutely pouring down rain outside, and supposed to keep it up all day. I am going to a wedding this evening with my daughter, but need to run a couple of errands before that. Hope it lets up some time. I bought a new dress yesterday for the wedding, and was surprised to be down another size, even though the scales haven't been moving much lately. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

                    Buffy--you will LOVE those socks. I was getting blisters from my cotton socks. I thought the same thing--mamma always said to wear cotton! Well, not for running long distances! Since I've started wearing special running socks, I haven't had a SINGLE blister. And I used to get blisters whenever I did anything over 2 miles.

                    Oh, by the way, your new siggy pic is gorgeous! It's so nice to put a face to the name!

                    Well I'm feeling pretty good today! Hopped on the scale, and I'm down 1.5 pounds to 182.5. SOOOOOOOOO close to the 170s! Today I might go for a run, or do some full-body toning, and then I'm going to open lap swim at the pool for an hour. Wowie, last time I did that, I was soooooooooooooo sore!

                      Good morning to all of you. I woke up with my hip hurting today. must be going to rain. It's my rain forecaster. I did some encline walking yesterday. trying to work on my stomach (the biggest part of me). Today is my 14 day of cheat free re-induction. I'll let you know what the scale says tomorrow. Today i'm going to get on my gazelle, it's easy on my joints. Hope all of you have a good day at whatever you do.

                          hello all! well i carbed it up this morning! I am trying out for the Naval Academy and have been majorly BUSY and VERY stressed all week and this morning i had a morning all to myself and was actually bored and because of that boredome...caved BIG TIME!!! i was actually thinking of for a week going on that fat diet DANDR was talking about where 75-90% of your foods are from fat and seeing if that will kickstart my metabolism...what do you guys think???

                            Good morning! Just got off the bike 5 miles... did my sit ups... time to get ready for work. Congratulations Julie! Buying smaller clothes and losing lbs is so much fun!
                            Alaska, don't sweat it too much, start back starting now. don't have any advice about the high fat diet. Where are you in OWL? Sometimes adding a new food group kicks it up too...???? not an expert though...
