    good morning stacers!!! i am up early and getting ready to go in to work. i am thinking about my future and who i want to be. today, i am focused on becoming who i already am...i hope all of us have healthy, productive days. and, to borrow from skinny mom, i do hope we all realize a dream today...

    Good morning STACers.... It's a new day, another day...the days add up and they make us stronger and stronger...The consistency of behavior also gives us confidence. We build depth and that is very very good for the over all picture.
    I went to my neighbors house yesterday to meet all her friends who've come down and she gets on my diet success....People are so eager to hear the "secret"....I smiled thinking, "well my secret is I found a diet I could make a lifestyle and I just do it every day, with ease"...some times it's hard, but for the most part it is not...Eat low carb, drink alot of water, and exercise every day. The days add up the strength builds and we develop a new level of trust with ourselves. It's all good!

      Good Morning everyone.. Well I think I am back on track.. at least I made it through dinner last night... We had a nieces birthday party and get this... As I sit there only eating a hamburger and a Hotdog...cause there was nothing else for me there.. (I had a can of greenbeans in the car..wasn't very hungry though) The family starts talking low carb to my father in law who they are checking his sugar levels. And they were talking about how bad carbs were..like white potatoes...bread...etc.. So why can't they notice that I have lost 24lbs! That is what frustrates me.. They didn't have a problem telling me how much I have put on...that they don't notice anything about me.. My face is much smaller...so I know that it has to show...

      So I am getting together with this same family this evening for Father's day.. We are having hamburgers and hotdogs again.. But I am fixing a big pan of squash to take so that I know I have something good for me

      So here's to a legal day! Happy Father's Day to the dad's!

        Happy Father's Day to the dads here.

        Doing well here food-wise Went to the buffet a few nights ago. The bad stuff there doesn't tempt me at all because there's so much that I can eat. Everytime we go there (which is much to often) I like to people watch. I am just amazed how many overweight people there are. Even the "skinny" high school girls have bellies! And then there's the "mart" whichever one you like, and almost everyone there is overweight, and at the grocery store and at mall. I know that I live in one of the heaviest states, but I've never seen so many overweight people before. Just in the past couple years, it seems like everyone has put on weight. Even at my 255lbs highest I didn't feel like I was huge and I think it's because everyone around me was big too. Atkins and low carb work, and I think that there are an awful lot of people that need it! When I first did Atkins about 3 years ago there were several low carb stores and the grocery stores carried low carb products, but now it's hard to find anything carb-controlled. Do I have a point? Well, no, not really. I was just thinking. We're not going to be part of that crowd anymore!

          *Sandy, they probably do not want to admit that you were right and doing good about anything. My fam is like that, thats why I moved to TX from CA.

          I am back to 154 YEA. going to eat more vegies to get rid of the tireds, back on track and very happy about that. WoW how the little things can creep up on you.

              Morning Everyone....and Happy Father's Dad to all the dads!

              Sandy....I agree, people are jealous because what you are doing works. They aren't doing it and so they don't want to acknowledge it. Sad, but true. I know my eldest daughter keeps telling me how "dangerous" she has heard Atkins is. I keep telling her that I had done tons of research on it before starting and for everything negative there were more positive. You can't dispute true results. Healthwise it has helped so many people, this is in addition to the weight loss. So, I think people who aren't even in need of losing weight should adopt a modified version of Atkins and quit pumping their bodies full of carbs and preprocessed foods. They would just find themselves a lot healthier.

              Anyway, to each their own, we all know the benefits to the WOE and so for that I am truly thankful.

                Good morning! Glad to see everyone is stayin on track. Today was weigh in day for me. My two week re-induction time is up. Wouldn't you know it and it's that tom.gurr! Well I weighed anyway and I'm down 10.5 lbs. I'm happy with that. Sheepie, it's good to know the dreams we have may actually come true! Outback, isn't it so empowering to spread the good word of low carb to others, good for you. Kudos. Sandy, as long as you notice dear, is what counts. We know how hard you're working at it, and how well you've done. We're all proud of you. Sheepie, I know what you mean! It seems that everyone around us is on the SAD diet, the "STANDARD AMERICAN DIET". Soon we'll be the ones standing out in the crowd looking all SLIM and HAPPY. Wishing all you fathers out there a Happy Fathers Day!

                    Sherri congrats on 10.5 pounds! That's fantastic!

                    It's a quiet Sunday morning here. I'm hoping to go on a walk with my boyfriend while it's still sunny...we've had a lot of storms moving through, and we're going to try to walk while it's nice out.

                    I took new pics yesterday, and new bikini pics and new sports bra/bike short pics today. I do see a difference, but I was hoping for something more dramatic. Oh well...at least I look better than I did before! I'm not sure if I'll really be able to wear my bikini with confidence in another month...although I might wear it next weekend when we go to Big Sky. Less people will be looking at my tummy than in Las Vegas!

                    I've also discovered that they need to make a tanning spray for those with cool undertones in their skin. My middle sort of looks jaundiced compared with the rest of me! AHHH!

                          Good afternoon, all! Was up early making father's day breakfast for dh. We opened gifts, then in the pool! Getting ready for lunch now. Happy Father's Day to the dads!

                          Sandy - hang in there. I do my best not to worry about others. Most of my family think it's a fad. Let them.

                          I was so happy today because I realize something. Our land is in a little valley. We have to walk up and down a big hill to get to the pool. It used to be very hard to walk up the hill. I used to pant like crazy. Now, it's no big deal! Even with only 20 lbs lost - what a difference!
