    Good Morning Everyone... Everyone sleeping in? I finally have my new a/c in and of course yesterday was a cooler day so we don't know how its working..but I slept better last night

    I have a busy day and won't be home until late tonight..but the first stop is the Ymca... I hope there is a teacher today for my water aerobics class.

    Good morning everybody, today is a rest day, I've been putting in extra mileage for training for the Peachtree road race and today I am catching staff meeting at our church, so I am taking the morning off...
    I've been contemplating my next set of goals, I am closing in on my one year anniv. on August 1st. So, when August 2nd rolls around I want to have something planned.
    Well I bought these size 6 jeans. They are comfortable but not floppy loose, and I've decided that I want to be able to wear them on Aug. 1st, then on day 100 of the second yr and New Years Day, and perform in them in March. I've decided I want to not only be here all this next year, but to be able to slip into these pants, because they will signify MAINTAINING and holding on to what I've got. That will be quite an achievement for me.
    I've said all year long I want to be here in a year. That was my biggest goal, knowing the weight would take care of it's self. It has done that! So now, I want to work on Pre-maintainence and Maintainence because that's where it all falls apart for me...When I make this a diet, it becomes a short term thing, when I plan to eat and live this way forever, there are no cheats, no going back to former foods, and food continues to have a smaller place in my attention span...
    The bigger picture shifts from getting it off to keeping it off. The size 6 jeans will be a wonderful gauge for my success!
    Always plotting and planning and working towards things. Taking my focus and control and using it in new ways that are fun and creative! That's a goal too. This is a gift, and I plan to cherish it and not throw it away, like I have foolishly done in the past.

      Good morning everyone! Sounds like you guys have everything under control and are starting the day with a great attitude!

      Me, I haven't exercised this week. Bad, I know. And I've been really tired. I wonder if it's related. I'm getting my hair done tonight, so I won't have time to walk tonight either. I've been drinking Crystal Light (Walmart's brand), but I haven't had any for a few days as a test. I'll let you know how it goes.

        Morning. I'm in pain, my foot is still hurting bad. Have to figure out how I'm going to manage being on crutches and haul two kids to a Dr's appt this morning.

          Good morning. I'm super tired this morning, I stayed up too late. But, I am here and ready to take on life.

            No Caffiene Day 4 - Excellent. Little headaches. Water intake is up like crazy! Just wanted to stop in and say hello! I hope everybody has a great day.

              Good Morning! This is my last day of work before vacation.... I'm SOOOOO ready! I'm FINALLY losing... and FAST! I think the yeastie beasties were the answer. I've been taking probiotics for 3 days and cut out all dairy and smoked/pickled foods (what's left??). I'm down 6 lbs. in those 3 days. Technically 9 because the scale did say that I went up over my starting weight for a bit! Woo hoo!!! Good luck everyone--have a great day!

                  Good morning, everyone! Sounds like everyone has a bit going on today. More running around for me. I have a summer school meeting today, then grocery shopping. Then, weather permitting, pool time for me and ds - highlight of my day!

                  I'm retaining water this morning. My fingers are swollen (yesterday my wedding ring was way loose but this morning it fits). Not really sure why. Drank 110 oz of water yesterday. Need to look at what I ate, maybe. Too much salt?

                      Afternoon fellow stacers. Hope you are all having a good day. Its raining here in Ireland - again - another wonderful sunny Irish summer - not!
                      In one of my not hungry phases at the mo. I go through them on this diet occassionally where I really don't want to eat anything. Of course I eat small snacks, but its hard to get calories in. I've only 345 cals so far and its nearly 2pm. So think I'll go make a nice creamcheese dessert with blueberries, get those cals up!

                        I fianlly bought a tape measure and did measurements....

                        so, i will do it again next week and see.

                        STILL weight 162

                        I worked out 45 min last night.

                        Karen, I broke my foot in several places last summer (very hot time of yr to break foot) and had to be in a cast for 3 months and tote a 1/2 yr old around, it was awful, lots you can't do that you don't realize, but i did get a lot of TLC from my other 4 teens. Hope all goes well for you.

                          Morning, everyone. I'm glad to say that the 180 on the scale the other day must have been a freak mistake, because today I'm down to 176. Still not where I was at with my lowest of 172, but I think I can definitely hit the 170 by August 5.

                          I can't seem to get rid of my coffee habit in the morning. I use Splenda and heavy cream, and not too much, and only one (travel) mug a day. I've tried to counter it with added water. The other thing I'm having trouble giving up is the "one diet soda/iced tea" a day, also. In the afternoon, here at work, I like to have a Diet Sprite (usually my top pick because it has no caffeine), Diet Coke Plus, or a Diet Snapple.

                          I'm up to 2.5 L of water a day again, so that is good. My clothes look and feel good, as well.

                          Tomorrow the office I am temping in is having a goodbye potluck for me, so I need BIG help on trying to figure out what to bring. I probably won't be able to eat much of what people bring, so I need a really great food that I can eat lots of. Any ideas?

                            jess i can't belive size 6 JEANS...jeans are always tight! great work!

                            i went running last night, it was still 109 degrees out and i was worn out. drank about a liter of water in just under 20 minutes! wore me out. today i am going to walk this morning before work.

                              Make lo carb oriental salad.

                              1 bag of cabbage
                              1/4 cup of olive oil
                              4 tbsp worcheshire sauce
                              1 tbsp vinegar
                              10 packs of splenda
                              (may add or take away from liiquid ingredients to get the sweet and sour taste of oriental, make it the way you like it)
                              1/2 cup cahsews

                              roast cashew 10 min at 350

                              beat all liquid well with a whisp and to salad, then add the cahews, toss and you have an awesome salad.

                              best thing is your assosiates wont know it's low carb...heehee

                              should be farely low in carbs, and tastes awesome.
