    Good morning everyone! I like that phrase "lifestyle refinement." I haven't walked for a week and a half now. I'm not sure why. Just busy and hot weather, but I will get back to it soon (plans tonight). Even if it's only an hour, I sometimes feel guilty leaving the family to do it, but in the end, I know it's best for the family. It's not selfish to want to be healthy and active. It's a win-win situation for both me and my family.

    I think giving up Crystal Light was a good decision. My struggle is remembering my vitamin, drinking enough water, and exercising. I've got to try harder on those things.

    We want to rent bikes on vacation. Actually, every vacation I want us to do some kind of family activity that involves exercise. I want my children to think that exercise is a part of life and not just a sport that you do at school. My parents never did any kind of physical activity except working around the house, so it's really a new mindset for me. Part of the "lifestyle refinement."

      Good morning, everyone. Being a "late-to-rise" bird; the alarm when off at 4:00 for my medicine but I must have rolled over and went back to sleep instead. ARG! My sleeping patterns are totally out of whack. But then, it doesn't help sitting outside at night, star gazing. It was great, though. I saw quite a few meteorites skipping through the sky last night, usually from north to south, as well as the usual sattelites.

      Anywho, I most definitely have to go through induction and get back into ketosis. When I get hungry, I get the shakes and tremors, all that yicky stuff from unstable blood sugar levels. I'm not surprised, after all, my diet has been nothing but carbs for the last month. So induction is going to be SO much fun for the first few days! ack!! I considered fish for supper last night but the thought of it made my stomach roll, so I had chicken and spaghetti squash. I think I'm going to grill chicken tonight, too. Someone was grilling some late last night while I sat outside and oh, did it smell wonderful!

      Blazing - I haven't heard of DDR. But I checked out Tae Bo yesterday to see how that was! OMG! When I can do that and do it well, I'll know I've made it! "CARDIOOOOOO!!!" LOL!

      Oooh, ten more minutes before I can eat breakfast. Off to start that. Go for the gold, everyone. No "mediocre" way of living for us today!

        Morning Everyone,


        It will be a fast post for me this morning I am taking my daughter to performing arts camp this morning. Thank you for all the words of wisdom and encouragement today. Scooter don't feel too bad, hang in there. I am on my fourth day of re-induction today after having blown it on my vacation in SF. We are worth it, every single one of us and we are all in this together. Hey, I like the company!

          hi yall,

          having a good morning so far. got up at 5 despite going to bed late, and went for a run which felt good. ate a BIG breakfast (starving for some reason today) and am headed off to work.

          i LOVED the posts this morning, and the feeling of postivity was a great start to the day. mitzi, i especially liked what you had to say to sandy. and sheepie, i agree, making exercise part of lifestyle for your kids is a great idea. buffy, way to deflect the cake~!!!! harmony, great start to the day.

          everyone have a great day and thanks for being such a wonderful day brightener! i really look forward to checking in every morning for roll call. such a motivator for me!

            Good morning everyone! Day 24 of extended induction. 16 pounds gone since 06-03 when I got back on track again. Couldn't of done it without all of your support,THANKS! Yesterday I walked and did gardening. I decided i'm just gonna keep moving. The more I move the more I burn,no matter what it is I'm doing. Blazing, I love to dance and that's what I do for exercise along with walking and swimming. Buffy, Good for you on passing up the cake, such will power! Good morning Mitzie, Julie, Outback, You all have really inspired me and helped me get my head back on straight with this woe. I've been doing this wol for almost three years and have found that it sticks with you,it truly is a LIFESTYLE. Scooterjam, Great job on ditching the coffee! Well today I'm going to focus on my water intake,portion size of my meals and exercise. Remember folks, when it all come down to it, we're all WE have. So let's take care of US, because we're worth it! SPREADING THE LOVE!

              Whooshie this morning! Yay! Down over two pounds since yesterday! I had my TOM while on vacation, so think it is just some water weight going bye-bye, but still makes me happy! I am now down over 31 pounds!!! Just over 10 pounds to goal, though my official weigh in isn't until Sunday...

              Michelle -- I have DDR, too! Isn't it soooo fun? I love it. I just can't do it with my boyfriend's nieces because they are, like, 600 times better than me... Ah, to be young again!

                Happy Tuesday, STACers... just a quick post from me since i am just on break at work. Everything is going good and i'm staying strong and getting back into the groove with the exercise. I'm feeling good! Have a great one, everybody!!!

                  Checking in for lunch! Went and did my 'Hello' duties as spotlight host!! Glad to see that the Second Time Around Club is still kicking!

                  I'm having a grand re-induction day 1. Things are going well. I've already drank 105 oz of water today too!!

                  This is what it's all about!! Glad to be here, happy to be alive, so good to hear from all my friends. The Scootman is back!!

                  Lets see if I can beat Sandy or Jess to a few Roll Calls!! hehe!!

                      Here today! Was super busy cleaning the house today and getting things done around here. It feels great to be back on plan, while I didn't really go way off plan, it made me anxious to be out of my comfort zone with the food.

                      And also I didn't like the way the water tasted up there - silly huh? So I didn't drink nearly enough, it's great to be back to my normal amount.

                      Glad to see everyone is doing well....slow and steady wins the race!
