      A BIL makes venison jerky that is totally addicting. This is the first time I've ever tried making jerky of any kind. I can't wait to get it in the oven and start smelling the aroma! Just opening the bag to move the meat around is too yummy on the nose! LOL!! I'll let you know how it all turns out.

        BTW, the recipe kind of reminds me of one that my aunt makes for chicken legs. It's really good cold and makes a great snack while on the road. I'll have to dig it out...

                  Well, the scale was way down again, today, but... I have had two kind of bad days in a row. Yesterday I had one piece of super long string cheese for breakfast and then nothing until about 7:30 PM. I just got so busy at work that I forgot to eat and didn't even realize I missed lunch until 4 PM. I didn't want to eat then, because I wanted to have dinner with my boyfriend. Today I have been bad, too, but in the opposite way. I am really hungry (duh, I didn't eat all day yesterday) and I have had two diet sodas already (one can and one 20 ounce bottle). I usually don't drink any soda anymore, but if I do I limit it to one can total in a day. One of them had caffeine, which I almost never have anymore. Not sure what my problem is... On the up side, according to the scale this morning, I am single digits away from goal! I expect my weight to bounce after the frankenfoods I drank and ate today, but I was still happy to see the number so close to 140...

                        Oh partytrouble...I won't..as far as I am concerned..he won't be hanging out at that other boys house until he is 18... And in between that time I am praying he finds better friends.
