Well....I'm far from an expert here but you are supposed to take fibre grams away from carb grams to get a net count.....soooo....since my flax meal has 4 grams of fibre and 4 carbs in 2 tbsp's...its 4-4=0. Hence 0 net carbs in the flax meal.
Hope I'm right, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm not.
As far as the other ingredients in your muffin in a minute...you have to count the carbs for those. There are so many variations for it, its a great base. I made one last night and added ground up unsweetened coconut and I omitted the cinnamon....yummm.

.) We were served three meals on campus and I stayed on track. They had lots of salads, vegetables, and meat. But, the desserts looked sooooo good, and there were so many of them. I just passed them by.
