  • TGIF Roll Call!

    Good morning STAC'ers! I am feeling fine and motivated, are you? I like to rev myself up on Friday mornings - try on some of my small clothes, sometimes try on the few old things I have saved, to show myself how far I've come. Weekends are my hard times, when I'm tempted - so getting myself mentally pumped on Fridays to stick to it is essential.

    We leave tomorrow morning for a week at the beach.....so I won't be around. But rest assured I have a plan, and it's coming with me I won't be gaining weight on this vacation, nosirree!

    Hey Skinny great reminders on how to "gear ourselves up" for the tougher times, and you are so right to find something that motivates you, trying on clothes is such a good move, because with this being a ketogenic diet, we tend to loose more inches than pounds and how awesome to feel the difference in our clothing!!!!!!
    So way to go!

      Hi everyone

      Glad to hear positve feelings today, and you're right 'Thank God It's Friday'

      I had a pretty good night last night, all legal foods, but the weekend is by far the worst time for me. I have taken chicken wings out of the freezer so I can have them, mmm, gotta love chicken wings I plan on staying completely on plan this weekend though, 41 days left til I go to Florida So I'm very determined, I want to look good on the beach after all!

      I had a session of trying on my smaller clothes this week, just to see how much more weight I need to lose before I fit in them, it's a great motivator

        Good morning, all. I had a good day yesterday with starting induction over again - hoping all the others who did the same had a good day, too.

        The weekend is coming up, we need to prepare ourselves for it. Get those foods, snacks, and water ready to throw into a cooler and bring it along whereever you may go, work or play.

        I know that for myself, I need to become stubborn as a mule about this. There is no question this WOE works for me, that I lose weight. More importantly, I know I feel better and stronger when I eat this way; my body is getting nourished and repairing the damage the processed foods did to me. I've been my own worst enemy lately, allowing myself to get derailed. It's maddening because I couldn't hardly wait to feel well enough to eat the Atkin's way again - then when I can, I don't! Well, enough of that!

        I also want to to do a good two hours of doing the various workouts. I've been doing them sporactically throughout the day, get the heart warmed up and going, then quit, and do it again later. If the strength holds up, I would like to work out hard and break a solid sweat. (ack!) Time to learn how to embrace that yicky, slimy feeling... LOL!

        Stomach is growling - time to eat!

            Good Morning all! Happy TGIF!!! Tomorrow makes 14 days for me since my restart. I probably will stay on induction for about a month more. It works for me and keeps my cravings in check. I'll weigh in tomorrow and post. Keep your fingers crossed ok. Well, gotta go pack up the kids for day care and off to the dungeon. ...LOL J/K.

              Morning, All this rain I woke up with a sinus headache, put a new battery in the scale and it says I am up 1.5 pounds ACK, hope I just got on it too soon hope its just water weight. I could really use a little loss, will give it a go again on Sunday. OK enough whining its going to be a GREAT day going to get lots done, Going to think positive thoughts.

                Summer, where in FL are you going? will it be Panama City? That's where I live.

                  Looks like everyone is reved up for the weekend. I have all my snacks preparred as of yesterday, so i'm ready to go. Made the DOM cheesecake and love it. what does DOM stand for

                  Finally got past my "want to cheat" phase, and i'm back in full force.

                  Still weigh 160, but my measurements are dropping, so that's good.

                  does anyone know where we go to do the push up challange? do we report in this thread, or is there a differernt thread?

                    good morning all, just checking in on day 2 of induction. my first day went pretty well, hoping today will as well. i decided to join a challenge last night which is a first for me.

                    hope everyone has a good day, i'm off to get some dinners pre-cooked so that all i have to do is heat them up and get some of my veggies chopped up too.

                      Good morning everyone. Going to Blazing in Saskatchewan today...lol. We are supposed to hit around 100F today...slightly too hot for my liking, but hey, I'm not complaining, could be worse, like rain or snow!

                      Going to have a productive day here. Have a few errands to run and a bit of cleaning to do around the house and as always staying legal on the eating part of my life.

                      Have a great weekened everyone, plan plan plan...thats truly the key.

                        good morning everyone! not much planned for today. i've been way too busy and need a break! we are taking ds to chuck e cheese. but don't worry. i don't like their pizza so will be having salad bar!

                            Hello all you STACers!

                            Yup, feeling better and back on plan as well. It helps to have prepared Atkins friendly food. We need to remember to eat all the legal foods we can per day. Helps to keep the "hungrys" away. I did great for my re-induction after that shakey feeling like I was getting away from this WOL I had on the 4th. I feel like I've got a grip again. Sometime one clean day does that for me (thank goodness).

                              Good Friday Morning to everyone!

                              Our day at the beach went great yesterday. We went to Huntington and then cruised up Highway 1 to Santa Monica to an English Pub that my daughter loves. They have a restaurant next door that serves up the best fish and chips. It was hard to sit there eating my caesar salad while my daughter and husband were indulging but I kept telling myself if I put bad food in I will never get the results I want. This is my third day on induction and all is going well. I got my 30 minutes on the treadmill in already this morning. Now I have to go make breakfast and down those vitamins. Today is going to be a great day!

                              Thanks for all the positive posts today they really are motivating.
