They couldn't believe how great you were doing and they just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a mistake! Not only wasn't it a mistake, your numbers were even better this time!! Time for a big (legal) celebration!!!! Congratulations!!

        Re: Wednesday Morning Roll Call

well, i didn't get to post this morning because i was awaken by a phone call that my nephew's AC unit had broken down and had been down for 3 days in 90+ degree heat and his girlfriend and their 10 month old baby needed a place to go today until the AC was fixed by a repairman. so it was a quick shower, breakfast fixed by hubby, and then there they were at my front door. they just left, so this is the first time i've really had a chance to post today. the AC is now fixed.

i really thought that the day was blown, cause i have relied so much on this board for my inspiration everyday and i thought i couldn't make it without my daily fix of the boards. i thankfully did really well while they were here as far as food goes. at one point and time mom and baby took a nap together for a couple of hours and i was able to get a little snack in and then while they were still asleep i did my 270 crunches for the abs challenge. after that i was truly motivated and when they woke up i fixed fijitas for myself and mom. just a simple little mixture of chicken strips , green peppers and onions, fried up in some olive oil. i still had some low carb tortilla shells i needed to get rid of because i decided not to use them after all, so the mom ate her fajitas with them and i just put mine in a bowl and spinkled some cheese over mine and ate it that way.

so the day turned out to be a success after all and i was able to spend the day with my sweet great neice and her mom with no regrets of not being able to stick with the plan. i guess it just goes to show you that even when unexpect things happen you just have to adapt to the situation, but you can stay true to yourself.

hope everyone had a wonderful day and see ya all tomorrow.

i like this vibe, partytrouble. i know that this woe affect the adolescent girls i work with. when i am in control of my food and not obsessing about it, i have more energy and creativity to focus on them. also, i am modeling a healthy, positive way to lose weight. i also feel more confident and that reflects itself in a myriad of ways. this woe also benefits my dog. i am exercising more and therefore, so is she. i am also making physical activity a more important part of my life, and this spills over into sleeping better, being in a better mood, feeling lighter, making better choices for myself and continuing to be motivated to move forward on this woe!
