    Good Morning Everyone.. Happy Saturday. Well I am very excited this morning...I am feeling fat..and I weighed...and I am a pound down from yesterday.. WOO HOOO... That is the 5 carb binge pounds and 2 more I can say officially I am on track now...

    Busy day this morning.. Gotta do my last day of community service with my son (that precious child of mine has to pick up trash on the highways and I have to be with him) I am so glad that today is the last day.. I feel like I was the one punished..

    Going over to Surry today.. My daughter's boyfriend Sister is getting married.. Its a evening wedding.. But I offered to help with the food since its being worked on in the dining hall where I work.

    So I have a busy day...but have a container of food going with me for lunch.. Dinner I know they are having Chicken and I know there will be greenbeans.. Probably a salad too..And I will take a couple of snacks for just in case..

    Surry is a little town and they don't even have a fast food restaurant...So I always prepare when I head over there...

    Good Morning!

    Sandy, another pound!! Awesome! Would you do me a favor? Shake that whooshie fairy over an envelope and send me some dust? LOL You are doing just great!

    My house is filled with the smell of frying bacon *lipsmackin'noise* I am hungry and ready! I will be making a few assorted dishes for freezing for the week, today. I made Rev rolls yesterday. Probably faux stuffed baked potatos. Yum!

      I'm glad you are taking along the snacks. I'm not brave enough to get near all the bad foods. Stay strong and have a good time. Keep thinking about that pound you just lost! YAY!

      I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

        Happy Saturday!

        Yea Sandy for getting back on track. I can hear the confidence in your words today. You're back, you're planning, you're losing, you're under control!! Hooray!

        Not much going on here. I've been so tired all week and I don't know if it's from jet lag or the effects of getting myself back on track too.

        My Israeli boss emailed about a dozen recipes for salads with photos and most of them look legal...but they're in Herbrew!!! I was really looking forward to making some this weekend, but he had to do some actual work on Friday and didn't finish translating them for me. There were salad recipes for eggplant, peppers, cucumbers, tuna and egg. They sure looked good!

        Happy Saturday to all. Eat well and exercise.

          Morning! today is my last class. I am so excited to not be having 2 jobs. Going to make my life easier and take away excuses not to exercise. I think thats why I am stuck where I am pound wise. Maybe I need to go to Atkins camp, hehe WoW that would be expensive feeding folks all that meat and Vegies.

            I know exactly how you feel about the excercise. I live in the country on a deadend dirt road. We measured with the car, I have to walk to the stop sign 5 times to walk one mile. It is all the excercise I do, one mile a day. My two girls sometimes walk with me. Yesterday they cut up, sat down in the road, fussed etc. I just kept walking, and said "I'm walking my laps, you can come with me, wait here and walk the next lap, or go to the house." No matter what they did, I was gonna walk my mile!!! I don't know how much that one mile helps, but I feel really good about myself for doing it. So pick something, no matter how small, and take the me time to do it. I use to plan to do loads of excercises, then it was such a big chore I'd do it once maybe twice. Starting small is a good idea.

              I'ts soooo nice to sleep in.

              Wow! Sandy, you sound awesome today, and congrats on the pound. You are definitely on the right track. That's too bad you had to do community service with your son, how unfair. I would take the hours you had to spend doing that and make him give that back to you in housework (remember i have 3 teens myself) so I wouldn't be saying this if I didnt' know your pain.

              Momma -- what is "I made Rev rolls yesterday. Probably faux stuffed baked potatos. Yum!" They both sound mouth watering and i'm starving.

              Sheepie -- When you figure the recipes out you'll have to send them our way. (can you tell i haven't eaten yet?) you guys are more important....jumped on here first..hee hee

              Speedy -- I wish they had atkins camp, I would be the first to sign up. Sometimes when I am eating, I think about what it would be like to go to an atkins camp, with all that rich food, heck, we'd be in heaven.

              Does anyone get on the scale and weigh about 4 times if you have no loss (just to make sure the scale did not make a mistake)? And then when you get on and you have dropped a pound, do you not dare weigh again for fear of the scale being wrong? I did that yesterday. I had a pound dropped and ran from the scale fast. I didn't weigh this morning, because I was afraid that it would go up again. Maybe I also need to go to scales anonymous.

                I agree with you. If i plan too much exercise, i get burned out. Sometimes i'ts hard to fit it all in, especially if you have a big family. I try to do at least 45 min - 1 hour a day, and that is very hard for me to fit it.

                  Good morning, guys! I was having a great morning until I had an argument with dh. Over the phone, no less. And, as is my wont to do, I started to go make a big pan of brownies. (Still working on that stress eating thing.) BUT I decided to come in here and post first!!! Starting my mantra - I will not give in. I am worth it. I will not give in. I am worth it.

                  OK, I'm starting to feel better now...

                  MommaGlass - way to plan! Good for you!

                  Sheepie - Would love to see the recipes, too. I've never eaten eggplant and have been trying to get up the nerve to try it.

                  Rita - good for you for getting in that walk every day! That's what I do, too. I am so busy, exercise is hard to plan, but you can do walking anywhere at anytime. Keep it going!

                  Blazing - I am SUCH a scale addict. I do the same thing! I have been talking to apple and I think I am going to do a personal challenge in August to not weigh in at all. Want to join me? (If not, it's okay! I totally understand! It's taken me this long to get to that point!!)

                    Good morning all!

                    I see some great things happening--weight loss, positive attitude, motivation, determination, great recipes, exercise, venting!

                    Today it will be hot again, near 100, and I have the A/C on, who cares about the utility bill. I did a HUGE upper body strength training workout (and I'm not exaggerating--I lifted weights for 70 minutes) yesterday, and consequently, I can barely move my arms today. So I'm thinking I will go to the gym, do lower body, and end up with a matching set. I also might do some lap swimming? I know that yoga is DEFINITELY in order today, I've *got* to stretch these muscles...

                      Yep we NEED a scales anonymous forum. My S.O. guards them when he's home and won't let me weigh evertime I eat or drink something. Once in the morning and once at night. If he ever learns how to take that battery out, I'm in trouble. I was kinda thinking after Induction when the weightloss slowed down I'd stop it. But then again maybe I won't.

                          Good Morning to All of you! RITACELESTE has a great message this morning! "So pick something, no matter how small, and take the me time to do it" That is an excellent attitude Girl! I got down to 219 the first time around by doing 20 minute speed walking and then worked my way up to speed walk-jog. No matter how small or how big you challenge yourself, your going to lose weight and build muscle! Love your message this morning hon! Well today my withdrawal headache is gone from no coffee. I'm feeling focused on my 42 cheat free days! Going to get out there for my walk and get a few things done around the house and enjoy my families company today. Wishing everyone a great Saturday! Congrats Sandy on your weightloss and to all of the other losers. Stay focused and stay legal, We'll all get there! Best of health to you all!

                            hi yall,
                            how is today going? i have been struggling with overeating all week. i have kept to legal, induction foods, but have eaten WAYY to much of them. TOM is almost over, so it can't be that at this point. not sure why so hungry, shouldn't be out of ketosis because have stayed on ext induction since end of may with NO cheats. any ideas???
                            will have to just not eat much today, maybe that will break this cycle.
