  • Monday Roll Call July 16th

    Good Morning Everyone, I missed Sunday Roll Call cause I ended up staying in Surry after the wedding.. and didn't get home until late last night. I was NOT perfect this weekend..but I think I did okay.. It didn't affect the scales.. I had limited stuff with me and there that I could eat...

    I worked my butt off at the wedding reception..so I know I burned calories..

    I will be on track today..Its a day at home..can you believe it?...lol Well not the whole day daughter has dance tonight but that isn't until 6:30...lol

    Good morning Sandy and everyone. Is the weekend really over already? They go by so fast! I've been keeping legal, but the scales have gone up a few pounds. I don't think I've really gained anything...it's just those dishonest scales! I really need to exercise...

      Good Morning, all!

      Man, I had a really busy weekend. I put extended my patio and put in pavers. It looks really nice, but, it was hard hard work. Lots of lifting and manual labor. Exercise.


      Well, countdown to my 5K on Saturday! Like in all things, I got to stay focused!

        Good Morning, Just a quick check in, then hopping in the shower. Sandy you wear me out. I had the grandbaby yesterday, it was a great way to get worn out. She is 2 in a few months. Sheepie, I think all weekends should be 3 day they do go by too fast. WoW Buffy is this your 1st 5K. you and Jess, Julie, Jimmie and all the runners in here are awsome! I don't have to work late tonight YEA. cya later

          Good Morning everyone

          Today my induction is officially over and I lost 9 pounds I am really happy!!!
          However I have decided, I think to stay on Induction for maybe another week or two. The reason being is that although I didn't cheat food wise, last week I stopped eating breakfast totally and I never exercised at all. My weight loss really stalled because of this so I want to try again, unless any of you think the best thing to do is to move to OWL???
          To be honest I haven't found the food thing a real problem although I do struggle with breakfast. I didn't suffer from induction flu much, I had a few headaches, day 1 and 2 but nothing after that.
          I would be really happy to lose another 9 pounds in the 2 weeks, but I know that's unlikely. If anyone has any advice for me, I'd be really grateful. I'm down to 4.5 weeks until the wedding

            Good morning! I am here and workin' it.

            Saturday was perfect, yesterday I ate over on my cheese count by 2 ounces and maxed out my sweetner count, which I never do. Drank alot of coffee yesterday too. I drink it black so the only issue there is I am not drinking my water when i am sipping bean juice.

            Breakfast was a ceasar salad with rotie chicken from last night. It was yum. Definitely gonna watch that cheese today. man, could I eat my weight in cheese! LOL

              Good morning eveybody...I am moving slow today, and need to get out and run or bike...We shall see...Not wanting to run lately, just bike!

                I wear myself out too.. My daughter said the other day Mom why are you so grumpy.. I said because I am worn thin... I am going away this weekend and I am totally looking forward to it

                  I stayed legal this weekend, and dropped another pound, so I’m very excited.

                  Momma, I’m like you, cant get enough cheese…hee hee...I always have to watch that.

                  Summer, I went to OWL from induction last week and lost 2 pounds.

                    Well, I've been on induction really for one week, I cheated once though so I'm adding afew days back on to it. I've lost about 6 lbs. Today the scales moved in the wrong direction. I know its water because I've been eating right. I walked yesterday and went shopping. Sometimes I get puffy after doing stuff like that. I ended up picking up a lot of tuna in vegtable oil by mistake. I hate it but I hate going back to the store worser! I fear the big losses of Induction are over for me and its time to stop watching the scales like crazy.



                    My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

                    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
                    2nd mini goal: 140!
                    3rd mini goal:135!
                    4th mini goal: 130!

                    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

                      I have done that before too...and its so gross... But what I did was put it in a colander and ran water over it..it helped some...

                        Once I tried it packed in olive oil, I never went back to water. More expensive, but very yummy, imho.

                          Mornin Everyone

                          Bit rainy here this morning but we could use it, we have had several hot days.

                          Not anything exciting on the agenda for today. Have to run and do a few errands then stuff around the house...oh such a glamorous life I lead..NOT

                          Going to stay legal today and incorporate more (different) exercise to my routine.

                          I need to make sure I get all my water in too. I'm falling a tiny bit short some days I know.

                          Also need to get more finely shredded unsweetened coconut. I could eat it by the bag full. Its great added to the muffin in a minute which I'm off to make.

                            Good Morning hope it is a great one!

                            I am officially over my 14 day induction and I hit my first goal and am down 5 lbs. I know it probably would have been more if I had not cheated over the weekend but today is another day. I think I am going to stay on induction for the rest of this week and then consider moving to the next level.
                            I am off to exercise. I am trying to add on 5 extra minutes a day on the treadmill until I am up to an hour. It is hard to stay on that thing for 30 minutes let alone an hour!
                            I am in your boat Momma when it comes to the cheese. I have really had to watch that as well.
                            Sandy what kind of dance does your daughter do? Mine tap dances.

                              Hi all!
                              am discouraged this am... haven't lost in about a month... gained, then lost same wt... 2nd day of TOM... hands are swollen I can tell so must still be water retention! I have been sooooo good about not cheating or doing anything non-atkins. exersizing like crazy. what is wrong????????? why can't I lose? I'm kinda mad and feel like fasting to kick start some wt loss but of course know that I would end up losing muscle... and be tired and drained....
                              On a possitive note am feeling more energetic and healthy lately... I just really want to see results on the %@$* scale!!!!!
