    my house smells wonderful

    hey all, i just had to post on how wonderful my house smells. since i am going back to work tomorrow (after a 3 month sick leave) i thought i get some things cooked ahead of time for lunches. i fixed some taco meat for my dinner and had some left over for DH lunch tomorrow, plus fixed a meatloaf and also have a roast in the crockpot. i have such an amazing aroma floating through the house i just had to share. even my dog is going nuts over the smells in the house, keeps walking around sniffing at the air. it's so funny, she's a basset hound (and so cute), so any kind of scent she has to try to figure out what it is and where it is

    well i gotta get some veggies cooking now, had to stop cooking long enough to go for my walk. got plans to boil some cabbage, and some broccoli up to go in my lunches along with my meats.

      Sounds great. I have been bad about cooking my lunches ahead lately. I've been eating beef jerky and string cheese for lunch -- not very satisfying! I really, really need to get cooking again. Thanks for the motivation!!!
