  • I fell off the wagon (again).... BUT I"M BACK!

I'm not sure exactly what did it. I think it was a combination of things. I've been having some issues with the health of my family members and then on top of that, my husband enlisted in the Marine Corps. I mean, we discussed it first, but I guess that was just the one extra little push I needed to make me lose it. So I was off for a few days....eating crappy carbs and feeling terrible. I really need to evaluate why it is that stressful situations make me lose all self control. It's quite frightening. Anyway, I'm back and recommited. I guess the one good thing is that I didn't let this turn into a long term downward spiral. I've only gained back two pounds and with any luck, those will dissapear within the next couple days. Yay Induction! I missed you all and I'm happy to be back in control! I'll be seein ya!

I know what you mean...I lost almost 80lbs 2 years ago with Atkins and now have since gained back almost 40 so trying again. It's such an uphill struggle

I soooo know how much emotional distress plays a part on my eating habits. I too, have cheated and feel sooo terrible too. But after reading this forum, Many ppl just get back on the wagon and keep going on thier journey. Good luck to you and to all of us who have been down that path...
