    Thanks TMN ! I never thought I would be a Vegie Lover, but I am. Never thought I could resist sugar but I do. don't get me wrong I still get sugar urges but I choose not to have it. Love S/F Jello. Have a GREAT day!!! Drink that water up!

      Goood morning STACers...I need more veggies in my life! Never gravitated towards them before much, but need their healthiness in my body....
      Exercised my brains out yesterday, working hard towards my newest goal....love the journey to a new thing, I really do...I love new things....Multisport endurance, who would have ever thought! Crazy
      Hope everyone is well and seeking that lifestyle to support that thriving we get off Atkins...I feel so alive when I follow through on what I want to accomplish! Hope the same for you!

        Good morning, Speedy. I didn't think I'd get into such a variety of veggies. Last night, at the store, I thought of how I'm hungry for tuna macaroni salad. One of our favorites in the summer time. So I deciided to make it, substituting caulliflower for that macaroni. Not sure if I'm going to cook the cauliflower or not yet... Anywho, got green beans, jicama, and celery, still have green pepper and spag squash here.

        I'm still wind up screwing up occasionally but overall, I am eating so much better than I used to. Slowly making this a WOL for me. Eventually, I'll attempt a cheat-free run of days.

        Oh, that's right! Bought a steak for tonight! Yum!

          i have decided to advance to OWL rung 1, because I am not losing any more weight on extended induction (has been 3 weeks with no loss) so I will be increasing the veggies! actually really looking forward to it!

            Cucumbers and onions!! Yummy!! With a splash of vinegar and a drop of stevia.

            Life is sooooooooooooo good when eating that.

            Funny side note: My acorn squash and butternut sqaush is growing like freaking crazy. Those of you that don't know.....direct result of the major Scooter squash incident several months back.....haha.

            Roasted a turkey on Sunday which has provided me with a bountiful selection of snacks and quick fixes.

            Had fresh green beans out of the garden with a little bit of bacon and onion.

            Veggies!! Woo Hoo!! I'm a supporter for sure!

              I too decided to go owl. Never did the steps before. More veggies yummm. Tough weekend w/ parties,and camping. Wish me luck! Hope everyone has a great day.

                  Turkey! Yum! What a good idea. Roast turkey!

                  I've lost 1lb, but yesterday was not great. I can resist sugar and flour w/o much problem, but yesterday for lunch I ate 3 servings of salmon and 2 servings of broccoli salad. Then I had 3 servings of smoked almonds for dinner. No cupcakes or anything, but certainly not ideal! LOL!

                  Tonight I'll be better and have pork chops and cauliflower for dinner.

                  Veggies are nice, but they take up so much room in the fridge! Especially broccoli, cauliflower and eggplant. They don't leave much room for my children's grapes.

                    good morning all, haven't posted for a few days, but thought i would stop in and say hello. also wanted to say that i'm a little worried about a situation i could not control. today i have to have a CT scan done, and have to drink 3 barium drinks about 16 ozs for each bottle, the concern is that they have citric acid and also artificial sweetners. they taste awful, but i'm a little worried they may cause a stall or a really bad craving. i just finished my first bottle a little bit ago, and have another to drink an hour before the test, then have to drink one at the hospital just before the test. i know it's not something i can control, however it is kind of a concern. i don't really have anything in the house that i could cheat with so that's good, but i will have to go to work after the test and they do have a vending machine there. i am gonna do my best to try to stay away from it. i know i don't want to cheat, just hoping that the drinks won't cause a craving that i can't fight away. i made sure i ate something very filling before i had to start drinking it, especially since i can't have anything else until after the test. i plan on stopping at home before i go to work and fix a big salad to eat before i go into work since i won't be there long enough to have a lunch there. hopefully that will be enough to keep me full and i won't have a reason to get any cravings.

                    well, enough of my rambling on. i hope everyone has a wonderful day.

                      Gotta love veggies, for sure.

                      I agree though, they do take up so damned much room in the fridge and I have a problem of buying too many at a time...everything looks sooooooo good.

                        Hey Monie Gal, good luck with that test and I think you've got it planned, go home, have the salad but tuck one or two things in your bag, a boiled egg or a few pieces of cheese. That way, if the cravings DO occur, you can fulfill them with something legal and good for you.

                          I'm guilty of not getting in my veggies. and I've fallen prey to sugar alcohols. I haven't cheated but I've over done my legals. So today is a new day, tightening those straps and bucking up.

                            Hi Everyone.. I agree Veggies take up my fridge...which means its always packed...lol I am up 8lbs today from the weekend.. Now I KNOW I didn't eat 8lbs of food..so it should come off in a few days....

                              I hear you on the barium drinks - yick!

                              I know it's frustrating but it can be hard to work around medical procedures. Gets kind of out of our control.

                              Don't stress over it - just let it happen and do what you need to for clear test results. When you can, get back on Atkins. Trust me, the drive to do so will be there, even if it tests your patience...
