  • WEDNESDAY morning role call

    Morning everyone

    Technically its Wednesday morning for me. Granted, its only 3:35 a.m. but I can't sleep (if you are interested in why you can read it in my journal) so I thought I would start the thread.

    My thought for the day is "everything can change in an instant". Live life to the fullest. Tell people you love them. Give hugs. Make your life the best it can be. Have no regrets!

    Its weigh in and measure day for the LDC but I think I will wait til 8:00 a.m. or so to report my results.

    I am up early too...Can't sleep.. Its the dogs fault though..he was scratching the door to get out of my daughters room...

    Didn't have a good day yesterday... Ran out of time so I didn't PLAN properly.. But I am home today...and will work on ME..

    My Life Insurance Lady is coming out..and I got approved...just have to pay $8 more..but its actually cheaper then it was....Hubby's is still high...they actually said he was at a lower level then me..when I did all the fussing about them coming out to do my vitals..

      Good morning, Kathy, Sandy and everyone else. I've been awake since 4:00a. Must be the heat... After a while, I started some leg exercises while lying in my bed. I think I'm onto something there for these darn legs and knees...wimpy limbs...


      I read your journal, Kathy... ouch! My stomach tightened up just reading it. Sounds like your daughter should just lie back and rest today. My heart goes out to all three of you.

      Glad to hear you were accepted, Sandy, especially after all that nonsense they put you through. ugh! How maddening!

        Way to go Sandy, I know that was one of your goals.
        I'll have to read your journal Strudel, as soon as i get to work.
        Morning TMN...hee hee...leg exercizes in bed...good for you.
        I'm feeling better today, yesterday was the blahs. Hopefully today will bring a sense of well being. Have an awesome day everyone.

          Morning everyone!

          Mid week and rounding the corner. It has been pretty busy and I've been keeping my head on straight!

          I just ran 3.5 miles this morning. Smiled at the garbage man while I was doing it.

          I'm smooth sailing on my endorphine high and it feels good.

          I'm going to start posting my daily goals here to keep me right.

          Water: gallon.

          The scale is going to move even if I have to drink the Atlantic Ocean.

            Good morning everyone, I have one eye open...would still be asleep if I could. These last few days have been non stop ones and I am pretty tired til I get up and rolling. I am focused and have alot more control together right now. Buff, Im running for 45mins today.

                Morning, haha I think I am going to turn into a grilled chicken salad. I love em....... Thats usually 98% of what I have when I eat out with co workers. One of them actually bak baked at me, it was funny and meant in a fun way. That was just before he slathered sugarey bar b q sauce all over his meat and beans, never thought I would think Yuck to that but I did. This woe has a way of changing your tastes and lifestyle for the better I guess its just habit now, like the water and I think I am going to sign up for the next round of 6 week exercise challenge that should be happening any day now. so I will be looking for it.

                  Just checking in. Don't have time to read all the posts this morning. Missed checking in yesterday. (bad STAer...bad) I'll read posts tonight when I'm not at work and busy busy busy.

                  Just GOTTA check in, if for nobody else, for myself. It's just that one little piece of reinforcement....

                    Good morning. Getting to know everyone's names is going to be a goal in itself. I am down 18 lbs @ 3 weeks. Good morning to all. Will have to figure out how to get to the journal. I think you people are great how you share you hard times and your triumphs. Sure enough a good way to great the support and strength you need to face another day.

                      TMN, those leg lifts still count even in bed! And Buffy, is out early smiling at the garbage men! hehe...

                      I have 4 guys out in my driveway building me a new one. (Our's collapsed.) They were knocking on my door at 7 am! When I can finally sleep in.....it seems I'm up early every morning! It's maddening.

                          Morning everyone!
                          Sorry I missed you all yesterday! I've had a little more on my 'to do' list lately! Yesterday was my monthly quilt day... so much fun! I stayed legal though, but didn't drink enough water and too much caffiene... feel dehydrated still, and my skin's too tight... I'm with you Buffy... goal for the day: Drink water. For some reason I am really challenged by that at work too! Also had family dinner at restaurant yesterday: had steak and the salad bar... yummmmm!
                          So good to hear how good everyone is doing! You all inspire me so much!

                            Hello Gang!

                            Tired today. Been burning the candle at both ends lately and would love to squeeze in a nap today. Not gonna happen - having brother-in-law over for dinner since his wife is out of town. Steak! So mine will be Atkins friendly. WOE is going well, exercise is not. Need to get back on track so I can see some kind of loss. Sllllloooooooooooooowwww going these days.

                              Good Afternoon, fellow STACer's

                              I've been a bad girl about checking in here everyday, but I do read the thread. It is great to see some new friends, and to catch up on old ones.

                              Getting all of my water in has been a struggle for me, too, lately. Why in the world is that? I have been doing this long enough to know the benefits of plenty of water... gotta just do it.

                              Gotta step up the exercise, too. I have no problem getting my walking or bicycle riding in, but I hate to do dumbbell work. Once again, gotta just do it.
