    Good Morning everyone and welcome Bluegrass Momma,

    I know exactly what you mean Buffy. I get that way with food, and I often find it when I walk (when I walk, am starting a routine today). It is a good feeling to be content with whatever your are trying to achieve...so content you don't even notice you are doing it. That effortless stride is the perk we get when we are living this WOE and we have ketosis happening. I love knowing whether what I put in my mouth is legal or not and how my body reacts to it. I think when we are "in the flow" we are empowered.

      Good Morning!
      Got out of the flow yesterday... but getting back into it today... sure it won't have been worth it either... Hip pain is still there... Going for a walk soon... going to wear a hat and long sleeved white shirt to keep out of the sun... Movement helps while I'm doing it but when I stop, that's when the pain comes back... laying down is more comfortable than sitting...
      Want to tackle the garage... needs a good cleaning... then work this afternoon...
      Jess, that sounds sooo fun to float down a river like that! How fun!

        Great to start this week Buffy with "THE FLOW"! I can definately relate. I love the flow of being in control of food, water, vitamins, exercise. I'm in the flow of all of these except I need to work on the flow of exercise. I've really slacked off and I know what I have to do to get into the flow of it. That's something I'll be working hard at this week. Jess, your trip down the river sounded devine.Sheepie, you're doing great planning ahead for the week.Terry, so happy about your interview this a.m I've got everything crossed for ya dear.           This is "just" day two for me, and I'm definately in the flow. (If it was the first time around, I'd have no idea, but now that I'm a veteran, I can tell when it's going to be a keeper).

          When I say "I'm in it", I mean food and liquid intake-wise. Absolutely in it, and already in ketosis, no hunger, no cravings. Have everything organized, vitamins and stuff lined up, water bottles in fridge (and here at computer); I know my plan.

          I hope to get into the flow re: exercise. I remember the flow with regard to running, and I want to get there desperately - one of the best feelings ever. But heck, I'd settle for having a really solid walking routine and getting back to the gym (that would take an entire phone call.......but I must get around to it!)

          As a person who way back when started the morning roll calls, I was very excited to see that it is still going strong - I feel welcomed back even though none of you guys know me yet!

            Ok, I'm back for an update.

            ATM card was left in the machine, so at least I don't have to go through the trouble of canceling a bunch of stuff. However, they immediately destroy them so I did have to order another one with the same number and PIN... still a hassle but better than having to change everything.

            I did head out immediately for my walk and was able to get in just under 3 miles before it started raining. I've been getting in about 4.5 miles at a time the past few times I walked, but I am happy with the almost 3 miles today since it was a lot hotter going later in the morning. And the last leg of my walk was really fast so I could get out of the rain.

            So, Kathy... we are Atkins twins! We've got the same thing going, while Mickkey has the opposite thing going. May each of us find balance!

            Mickkey, thanks for the compliment about my shirt. I love it, except for how easily it wrinkles. I got it at the boutique that my niece owns that I work in. For the longest time I couldn't fit into any of their clothes and now I can. I'm glad that most of the clothes there aren't really my taste, or I would be in trouble.

            BluegrassMama, it is nice to have you here. Nice job on ditching the bun! It gets easier and easier, too.

            PT - ugh on having to go all the way back for nothing! Better safe than sorry, though.

            Candy, good for you getting into the walking routine. It's always a struggle to get out there, but I am soooo glad that I did once it is done.

            Liz - darned hip!! I hope you get to the bottom of that soon.

            Evermind - hello It's better the second time around! Look forward to getting to know you.

            Sherri - always a pleasure to hear from you. Let's you, me, Evermind, Kathy and everybody work really hard to get into that exercise flow!

              Hey Mitzi...Great that your ATM card was still there...that is such a hassle if it isn't. Ok, its a deal..trying to get into the exercise flow. Just did the stability ball workout...hilarious. I need to find my balance...sheesh. Thought it would be easier than it was. Lucky I didn't knock my teeth out rollin off that thing!

              Bluegrassmama and Evermind...glad to meet you both and looking forward to seeing more of you around the board in the future.

              P.S. Mitzi...I too would be in terrible trouble if I worked at a boutique where the style of clothing is what I liked....I'd be paying them at the end of the month.

                I ran! can you believe it! I jogged on all the down hills today! Wow! bumb hip and all... actually I thought all that bouncing and shaking help it some...like a massage kind of... then stretched for quite a while and did some yoga too... Feeling the flow again and it feels GOOD! Jess gave me some good advice today about re-reading the chapter on Eating in the Real World... so I re-read it and got all exited again and re-energized... and so over my cheat from yesterday... I mention it in case anyone else needs to re-read that chapt... very helpful info.
                Mitzi-can't believe it was still there! You must be soooo happy!
                When my daughter got her purse stolen earlier this summer at a college party... she got it back too! apparently they only wanted the cash, and tossed the wallet some where where it got found and able to return... but there were 2 lap tops stolen. Sorry, this has nothing to do with anything I guess. Just sharing.

                  Good afternoon everyone! Some really interesting posts today! I'm gonna have to work on this whole "flow" thing.

                  I just wanted to check in and see what everyone was up to today. I detest mondays. They really bring me down. I did get out of work early today though. I think Im gonna walk my dogs once it starts to cool down. Im sure they would appreciate it!

                  And, Im pleased to announce that I'm down to 185 pounds which means I've lost 31 pounds and Im almost to the half way mark! YAY!!! Im so happy! I have a mini goal of reaching 175 by Sept 8th which is my brother in laws wedding day. I think it may actually be within reach!

                  And MITZI - Ive been meaning to tell you that I think you look fabulous! You go girl!

                    Kathy... LOL... I have a stability ball, and am so spastic on it. I started ignoring it and my husband got so sick of looking at it that he brought it to our storage unit to get it out of the house. I'm going to give it a little time before I ask him to bring it back... gotta make sure I am ready for the commitment first so I don't have to take his teasing if it starts gathering dust again.

                    Liz! You ran?! OMG! That is just one thing I don't see myself doing... my knee can give me h*ll just from power walking. I am very impressed with you.

                    Mrs. Davis, thank you very much my friend for your kind words. I think it is wonderful that you have made it to the halfway point... good luck on reaching 175 by September 8th. I think you can do it!

                      Thanks Mitzie for your support hon! Your right, I really need to commit myself to get moving. It's my hips that give me h*ll. I've had a walking/ hiking routine before, I know I can do it. I just need TO DO!
