    WOW! This is the first time that I am the first one here! Just wanted to wish everyone a Very Atkins day! And let ya'll know that today is my 4th day back on induction and I am feeling FANTASTIC!!! Have a great one all!

        Hey disc I can only read down to sunshine on your shirt. I think I have a couple of family members that need that T shirt hehe , great pics.

        Well I am still battling allergies, think I will make a dr appt. am pretty sure its a sinus infection now. NO more walks outside !!!!!

        I do not have time to be sick, its not on my schedule. ok done fussing.
        YEAH I'm a little ray of sunshine today too, LOL

          Good morning, Sheepie and everyone!

          No, I don't compete. My focus is self-defense and hunting. As for being a good shot, it depends on what I'm using. I can "point and shoot" with one of my brother's guns but haven't gotten there with my own yet. Not bad with double taps and center mass. It all depends on the handgun and lots of practice. When it cools off, I'm heading to the range. Starting to feel well enough to do so again but too dang HOT and HUMID out right now.

          Going in for my second interview this morning! I'm so fired up; the more I hear about this company, the more I want to work there. So I'm outta here to start focusing and getting ready for it. CanNOT wait to put aside all the job searching stuff and focus hard on Atkins again...

            Good luck this morning Terry.

            I was up a pound, then lost it yesterday, then gained it back today....frustrating.....can you gain muscle from 3 days of DDR? could it be muscle gain? My measurements are the same too.

            Hope everyone has a great day, and yes disco, i will drink my water.

            by the way i thought your name was discolemonade (all together_) like i was saying "dis cole manade" it just occured to me last night that is was disco lemonade...hee hee....blonde moment.

            Oh yah, Sheepie, i looked for your pics last night, cant find them????

              Hello Everyone,

              Finally feeling back to my old self today and ready to get back into my exercise routine. I have missed it for the last two days. I have been doing great on the water for the last four days drinking well over 64 oz. See what happens when you get rid of the diet coke

              TMN...good luck on your job searching.

              Speedy hope you feel better soon. I know about those darn allergies they can make you so miserable.

              Disc....yeah 56 cheat free days. That is awesome. You go girl!

              Gue....4th day on induction that is wonderful. Keep it up and thanks for getting the posts going today.

                  Good morning!

                  I'm up early, going to a dr. appt (nothing serious).

                  I feel so firmly entrenched now, as I start day 5. Wow, that was fast! I guess there IS a benefit to doing it for the 11 billionth time! lol

                  So, yeah, that scale....up, down, up, down. Last night I got on to show my son how our weird scale works, and I was one weight. This morning, one pound higher. That's not the way it's supposed to go! I think it's a reminder to me that water weight does its own thing, because sometimes I need reminding about that. I don't place any real credence in what the scale says - I prefer measurements - but that doesn't stop me from frequently checking the scale.....

                  Went to see the new Harry Potter movie last night. I was slightly tempted by the concession stand - more like a longing, really - but it was easy to overcome. I had a nice salad when I got home. It helps to go to the movies immediately after having something really high in fat, and promise yourself something lovely to eat when you get home.

                    Another beautiful day and lots to do around the old homestead.

                    Gue...you are past the hard part of re-induction...its all smooth sailing now. WTG!!!

                    Disco...good job on the cheat free days. I'm training for the water challenge so no probs here in drinkin my water...besides its HOT here so you wanna drink it.

                    Speedy...sorry about the allergies...a problem I don't have, but I sympathize...its NO FUN.

                    TMN...good luck on the job...fingers crossed you get it. What kind of job is it?

                    Sheepie...I have some horrible before pics, not sure if I will ever post them, but maybe at my goal I'll do a before and after...we'll see. Not fond of my picture at any time. Hate getting them taken, I don' t feel very photogenic so hence, not really too much posted on here of me.

                    Blaze...you sure could gain some muscle from DDR. What most likely is happening is your muscle is retaining a bit of water from its being worked out. Don't worry about it ok...it will go. You are doing everything right and results will follow in good time.

                    Evermind...good for you for not succumbing to the movies concession stand. Ahhhhhh the smell of popcorn. I love popcorn, especially the white cheddar kind, but that is so NOT on my list of food. There are other yummy things that I can eat now, guilt free.

                      Looks, like everyone is starting a bright and cheerful day. Looks like a postive day. Wishing all luck at job interviews and/and kicking those sniffles.

                      Looks like I am starting come out of my funk. I said no to a large piece of apple pie. I do mean "large" This pie weighed almost 6 lbs. I don't go for sweets but it was calling me. I said no and left the room. Yeepie!!!

                        Atta gir, Gem....move AWAAAAAAAAY from that apple pie. Good tactic - simply removing oneself from the temptation. I'll remember that one.

                        Ah, the scale. I have a "leaner" which can fluxuate 5 lbs. or more. It's wierd, I sometimes think about getting one of those good digital ones but I kinda like not REALLY knowing (fools me into thinking I am not actually a slave to the scale) and I am afraid of what a correct scale might say my weight is. Foolish mind games, I know, but they work for me. (does that mean I am a fool!?!?!?!)

                        Anyhow, have a fantastic day all you STACers!

                            good afternoon!

                            on my lunch break..my fav time to come on ADBB! oh man-yesterday i made some aaamazing parmasean (sp) chicken from one of the receipe's i found on here. it was SOO good! i just got done eating a few leftover bites! yum! i printed a bunch of receipes off yesterday so i hope to incorporate them in the upcoming days!! happy thursday everyone!
