    Hello all good mid morning..

    People that dont believe in this WOL...should just go away! LOL!
    I'm lucky that all of my family supports me. My dad just recently lost about 60lbs by pretty much starving himself. I didnt agree with how he was doing it either. He was taking diet medication etc. I hate to say it....as soon as he goes off i hope he doesnt go back to the way he was!

    Speaking of hot. I'm down in Houston, Texas.....let's just say yesterday when i went for my run i couldnt keep the sweat outta my eyes. It is down right sweltering outside. Looks like it's gonna stay around for a while too! I'm just glad to have some sun outside. We had rain for so long around here...of couse that was good on the ole light bill but hey i could go run and it was an excuse. Hence the reason i was really bad for about 2 months.

    I'm so glad to be back! Oh and Outback...you look awesome! We had the same starting weight i believe i cant wait to get back down in the 160's and working toward my original goal!

    Not sure who mentioned the mashed cauliflower....that sounds good...going to grocery store tonight and gonna have to buy some of that!

      Sheepie, that's great your having such a good effect of your boss!
      It's hot here too in sunny calif...
      down 2 more lbs this am. (scream!)
      gonna go workout now, had to make ds breakfast... veggie omlete with cheese. so that's what I had too... yum.

              Hello ALL!! Hey Mitzie, I get that reaction too. As long as we know our success with atkins, is what really matters. I have guest this week and have been having a lot of fun. Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing and let you know I'm thinking about each and every one of you. Today is three weeks of no caffeine! Feels great and I don't even miss it. Have a great atkins day people and don't forget to drink lots and lots of water.

                Good afternoon everyone. I've gotten the same reaction some of you have when I tell people I'm following Atkins. I suggested a church member try it when she complained about her BP, and she looked at me like I was insane! I proceeded to tell her my BP has never been so good. I could tell I was never going to convince her differentl, so why try. I guess "it sucks to be them" as my kids say also Blazing! lol...

                It's HOT and HUMID here too! It's 97, but feels like 107. Last night the sweat just poured off me while I was walking. Our weather man was warning people to stay in if possible today. Hope everyone is enjoying the day regardless of the heat.

                  Good evening all. Just checking in. I had a rough day here at work. But besides it all - I stuck to my planned meals. Feeling good! Contemplating greatness!!

                  Comments for the day: It's amazing how I never realized I had only a short goal in mind. Although I always spoke about this being a lifetime committment, I don't think I actually was committed. Never occured to me that it meant no buns on the burgers - FOREVER!! But you know I'm ok with that. Becuase my forever will be longer withit out them. That trade-off is worth it.

                    I had quite a funny experience this morning. I popped into the local superstore just as they were reducing the meat and baked goods. I loaded my trolley with some meaty bargains and this woman whispers in my ear that they are reducing the cakes and pastries again. I say thankyou but im trying to lose weight, we then get into a bit of a discussion about diets and I tell her im doing low-carb and she freaked!!! Started ranting off some crap about how my pores would explode and my liver would die??????? I pointedly looked down at all the creme cakes in her trolley and then mine with fresh meat and spinach and said 'I think our trolly contents speak volumes' and walked off .... he he

                    But anyway, its Day 3 and im still going great guns, the money I would normally have spent on chocolate, I spent on going on a sunbed instead, today.

I'm a redhead and I try not to get too much sun, but just today I got results from a biopsy on my arm and they need to remove a bad spot. Be careful and treat your skin as well as you are treating the rest of your body now. Oh Sheepie, shut up!! Okay, okay, but I had to say it.
