Re: Restarting
Morning Scaleskl, YOU can do this, I know it's tough, but usually we are sooooo grateful to get back into ketosis, get our energy up and start to feel good again, it's like a breath of heaven....I know I felt like I was finally at home, finally able to make peace again...Keep in mind, ketosis is right around the corner to really help you out!74 8/1/06

Re: Restarting
Join the club! We've all done exactly as you did. And we're back. Some of us (me) after five thousand false starts. But we're all back, and we're behind ya, 100%.
How are you feeling? What are you eating?

'Puppies and rainbows' Meena?! When are MY puppies and rainbows going to show up?!! lolOriginally posted by meena-beena
Your body will thank you--maybe not within the first two weeks but after that everything will be puppies and rainbows!
Welcome, Scaleskl-- The thing that keeps me positive is that I KNOW this way of eating works for me (and for you too) and you just need to follow the plan. This time around I'm really trying to search out for more menus and have a whole list of options to make for meals. When I originally did Atkins, it was after my son was born and my starting weight was 170. This time, several years later, my starting weight was 173--so I feel your frustration of gaining it back. But you can do it and this board is a great motivator

Re: Restarting
Hey there, welcome. It was really tough for me at first, i fell off about 15 times, I 'd do good during the week and then crash on weekends. One day I saw my 40th BD party pics in may and said...no way...i'm not going to look like that anymore, and I started induction and never looked back, down 20 lbs now...you can do this.....

Re: Restarting
scaleskl - I am in the same situation. I lost 75 lbs. in 2004 and have gained all but 20 of them back over the last 2 years. No real excuses other than I have huge trouble with carbs. It is not how much I eat but what I eat. I have been off the wagon, actually under it, for way too long.
I am ready to like how I look, feel good about myself and those can't be achieved if I don't change my weight.
Good luck - YOU CAN DO IT !!
Look forward to seeing you around and getting to know you !!
Have a GREAT new week,
