Hi all. I'm a little bit concerned that I actually seem to be craving fat! At the moment I am only interested in eating fatty bits of meat like pork spare ribs and chicken with the skin on it. I know that we are supposed to eat a reasonable amount of fat in induction, but how much is too much? Is this dangerous, and can I be jeopardising my weight loss??

    Please help

    Re: worried

Hey Aussie girl, do you have the book, Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution...Go to induction and re-read that chapter...How long have you been on induction? Fat satisfies, can you stop after you feel satisfied? Are you able to balance out the other foods REQUIRED....proteins and veggies??? I love fats too, much more than sugars...I've also learned we have to start listening to our bodies and stop at satisfied...Go read that chapter on induction...Are you balancing things out

      Re: worried

Hi Outback Jess. I do have the book, but still wasn't sure whether it was acceptable to eat mainly fatty stuff, or whether I still should take calories into consideration and be aiming for something like tuna. I do eat vegies and protein as well, but I find the fat much more tasty and satisfying.

        Re: worried

Have you been putting your meals in fitday.com? I eat all the fat I want and come in within 1% everyday of the 65-30-5 ratio. Maybe knowing the percentages would help. Good luck.
