    What you wrote resonates with me a bit.

    I think that for a long time, food and lethargy have numbed me to time. I mean, sure, I know what day of the week it is, and when the weekend is, etc. But I have neither lived in the present nor looked too far into the future - I've just sort of existed.

    Now that my head is clearer, I'm able to project into the future to see and visualize what I want. I'm also able to exist much better and more consistently in the PRESENT.

    What is difficult for me is to balance that. I don't want to live in the future - I want to live in the NOW, but I want to be able to visualize and set future goals. And that is tough to do at the same time.

    Sometimes I feel like I just end up in limbo - but even limbo is better than where I once was.....

          Hi everyone.

          Today is day #3, and I am exhausted. This is the second day in a row that I woke up after 5 or 6 hours of sleeping, stayed up for about 2 hours, and then took a 3-4 hour nap. I work 3rd shift and have had the last 3 days off, so I hope I can handle being up all night. I might try to squeeze in a nap later on.

          As far as looking into the future...Tonight is my first night back to work and I'm terrified. I work in a restaurant and am worried about temptation. I'm also worried about what to eat on my break. I know they have things that are acceptable, but I'm freaking out for some reason, lol.

          Even further into the future, I cannot wait until more of my clothing fits me! Fall will be here before I know it and there are more pairs of jeans in my closet that don't fit me than ones that do.

              Well im back at work and didn't even drool at the free food on offer in the Dinning Hall today. Im being very organised and packing my lunch the night before.

              Still in a bit of a grump over only losing a pound, knowing me, I will probably pout about this for the rest of the week. Still chuffed to bits with being 100% cheat free.

                  BambinaUK I understand pouting about a small weight loss. I spent 24 hours doing just this after my scale snafu. I lost about 3.5# after 2 weeks of Induction. It didn't seem to matter that I lost 9.5". I finally got a grip & am celebrating the lost inches. Embrace the 7# you've lost & the inches you've lost!!

                  Today I'm visualizing the scale going down, staying on program, & really looking forward to the day my knees no longer hurt!!!
