Hi everyone - just wanna say that I never left this board - I just did not "DO" Atkins like I promised myself I would (If only reading this board could make me thin!)
I started Monday (20th) , and I've taken the weekend prior to this to prepare my food diary etc. Got some great recipes from Linda's lowcarb website for Induction and feel really super charged. I realised that preparation is very importiant for me to stay on track for I do not need a lot of temptation to stray, but if I need to sign my planned menu for the day off and I know I cheated I really feel awful!
SO I decided that I will not make myself feel that way anymore - I wanna feel good every night when I sign off my book! Love yourself I say!
I have accepted that this will take time , but every day will be a day nearer to my goal.
Also - I used to get discourage when I did not lose for a couple of days, but have now decided to use this as a "great surprise opportunity" -
meaning that when I struggle to lose I will start looking forward to a whoosie , because Atkins ROCKS!

LOL) I did not weigh yet (only after day 14) , but I feel that I am loosing, so time will tell. Also I have been trying induction firendly recipes from Linda's site - AWESOME! And another big change from the first couple of times I tried Atkins and now is that I cook Atkins for the whole family (I might just make rice / potatoes etc seperate for them every now and again) BUT IT CAN BE DONE and by using some of these great recipes I do not grave anything.
