    Very bad..... But my net carbs for today are still under 63g, how much set back might that mean?

    Don't feel too bad, it could have been much worse...but, if you are in induction, that may have kicked you out of ketosis, and if you get back on track, it should only take you 2-3 days to back into ketosis...don't sweat it, just jump back on the atkins train...we'll ride with you.

          You can't change what you did, you can only direct what you will do. First, drink lots of water, I use it as a "cleansing" tool when I've had something I really shouldn't have. And add some extra exercise. I had some whole wheat bread today (not much but it's still a no-no at rung 4) so I'm adding at least 2 more 24oz bottles of water to my day and plan on going to the gym and doing extra cardio to burn off some of it. I splurge, I pay.

          But like was stated, you probably knocked yourself out of ketosis, but it only takes a couple of days to get back into it. You do have that to look forward to. It's only a temporary set back, just don't let it turn into a continuting set back.

          The only real mistake is the one from which you learn nothing. You will have times you trip. Just get back up, dust yourself off and keep on. If you beat yourself up, you'll only get depressed, and when I get depressed, I get all self loathing and binge eat thinking I'm not ever going to make it. Kinda like a little pitty party. Well, I won't make it if I keep feeling sorry for myself and binge eating because of it! I have to kick myself in the butt on a VERY regular basis. (sorry, the smilies still aren't working or I'd have "smack upside the head one here. )
